PREPARATION OF A STUDY in Arabic translation

Ongoing work in the area of international investment instruments includes the preparation of a study entitled Bilateral Investment Treaties in the 1990s(forthcoming), which surveys over 1,000 treaties to examine recent trends in treaty practice, the similarities and differences between new and old treaties, and their significance, particularly for developing countries.

ويشمل العمل الحالي في مجال صكوك اﻻستثمار الدولية إعداد دراسة بعنوان معاهدات اﻻستثمار الثنائية في التسعينات تصدر قريبا، وهي تتضمن مسحا ﻷكثر من ٠٠٠ ١ معاهدة لبحث اﻻتجاهات الحديثة في ممارسة المعاهدات، وأوجه التماثل والتباين بين المعاهدات الجديدة والمعاهدات القديمة ودﻻلتها، خاصة بالنسبة للبلدان النامية

The Regional Centre has participated in the" ASEAN/UNCTAD Preparatory Workshop on the Review of E-Commerce Laws Harmonization in ASEAN"(Cebu, the Philippines, 10-11 November 2012), and contributed to the subsequent review exercise, coordinated by the ASEAN Secretariat and UNCTAD and finalized by the preparation of a study containing recommendations on further harmonization of e-commerce laws in ASEAN.
