SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This year's Sharjah International Book Fair(SIBF)- third largest book fair in the world- will see the participation of 1,420 publishing houses from 60 countries, displaying more than 1.5 million books throughout its 11 days.
The awards event took place at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 1995 and 1996, in Paris in 1997, in Périgueux in 1998, in Versailles in 1999, in Périgueux in 2000, and in Sorges, Capital of the Truffles of Périgord in 2001.
This festival the Meeting Point is Kyoto Okazaki Tsutaya Books and Kyoto Modern Terrace, located inside the main KEX venue, ROHM Theatre Kyoto. The bookstore hosts a book fair and menu linked to the festival.
The festival will last for 24 days, and will feature not only the above mentioned dance performances but also a variety of other dance-related programs, including outdoor performances in the piloti space at Children's Castle, screenings of dance films at Theatre Image Forum, a dance book fair at the Aoyama Book Center main store, dance workshops, artists in residence and showings of their works in progress.
