ARTON Resins for Injection Applications ARTON is a transparent resin(ring-forming olefin resin) which has superior optical properties, dimensional stability and furthermore, revolutionary heat resistance. ARTON is a high functional resin suitable for optical applications such as optical films, light guide panels and optical lenses.
The term“self-supporting” means that the composition is dimensionally stable and will maintain its shape(e.g., preformed shape of a crown) without significant deformation at room temperature for at least two weeks when free-standing(i.e., without the support of packaging or a container).
Care label can help customers know products' features, so our tests include: color fastness to wash, color fastness to dry clean, color fastness to chlorinated bleach, dimensional stability to washing, appearance after washing and ironing, etc.
The front and back layers consist of three-dimensionally entangled polyester ultra fine microfibers(roughly 1/18 the thickness of hair). The core layer is composed of a fine, specially-woven fabric called"scrim," which improves strength and dimensional stability.
In contrast to other high temperature thermoplastics, Rilsan® HT resins also exhibit excellent long-term resistance to thermo-oxidation and chemical aging at high temperatures, as well as very low moisture absorption that produces exceptional dimensional stability and low tendency to creep.
