Issue of Blue Cards To comply with the PLR requirements the Blue Card will need to state the name of the ship, the port of registry, the IMO number and the name and full address of the principal place of business of the carrier.
Operators of vessels registered in an EU/EEA Member State should obtain their certificate from that State, which will then be accepted as evidence of insurance when calling at any port or terminal in an EU/EEA Member State.
