During the previous week, the Mongolian delegation had been compelled to request that consideration of the draft resolution be postponed, owing to a lack of coordination among units of the Secretariat with regard to programme budget implications.
Mr. Obeid(Syrian Arab Republic) said that his delegation had joined the consensus on the draft resolution because it condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
