The present addendum contains information received by the Secretariat after the preparation of the report on information provided by parties in accordance with Article 7 of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer(UNEP/OzL. Pro.24/3-UNEP/OzL. Pro/ImpCom/49/2).

As at 11 May 2012, the Secretariat had received two proposals for amendments, one from Canada, Mexico and the United States of America(UNEP/OzL. Pro.WG.1/32/6, annex) and one from the Federated States of Micronesia(UNEP/OzL. Pro.WG.1/32/5, annex).
The Working Group adopted the present report on the afternoon of Friday, 27 July 2012, on the basis of the draft report contained in documents UNEP/OzL. Pro.WG.1/32/L.1 and L. 1/Add.1.
At the opening session of the high-level segment, the Parties adopted the following agenda for the high-level segment on the basis of the provisional agenda which had been circulated in document UNEP/OzL. Conv.6/1- UNEP/OzL. Pro.14/1.

of Micronesia introduced the amendment proposed by his country, set out in document UNEP/OzL. Pro.WG.1/33/4, which had subsequently been cosponsored by the Maldives and Morocco.
The Committee therefore noted that that clarification had been recorded in the addendum to the report of the Secretariat on information provided by the Parties in accordance with Article 7 of the Montreal Protocol(UNEP/OzL. Pro.17/3) and would also be recorded in the report of the current meeting.
The two proposals, which were submitted pursuant to Article 9 of the Vienna Convention and paragraph 10 of Article 2 of the Protocol, may be found in documents UNEP/OzL. Pro.26/5 and UNEP/OzL. Pro.26/6, respectively.
Following the informal discussion the co-facilitators reported on the content of the discussion and their summary was included as annex IV to the report of the thirty-fourth meeting of the Openended Working Group(UNEP/OzL. Pro.WG.1/34/6).
Introducing the item, the representative of the Secretariat said that, pursuant to the request by the Committee at its forty-ninth meeting, the report on the data provided by parties in accordance with Article 7 of the Protocol(UNEP/OzL. Pro/ImpCom/50/R.2) was limited to issues specific to noncompliance or of other relevance to the work of the Committee.
The present note has been prepared in pursuance of paragraph 217 of the report of the thirtyfourth meeting of the Implementation Committee(UNEP/OzL. Pro/ImpCom/34/6), which recorded the Committee ' s support for a proposal from the Government of Australia that a document be prepared to explain and clarify the role and operational procedures of the Committee.
The proposed amendment was introduced by the European Community and discussed at the twenty-fourth meeting of the Open-ended Working in Geneva, in July 2004(see the report of the meeting, document UNEP/Ozl. Pro.WG.1/24/9, paragraphs 207- 221) and at the Sixteenth Meeting of the Parties in November 2004(see the report of the meeting, document UNEP/OzL. Pro.16/17).
Introducing the item, the representative of the Secretariat presented a document summarizing information reported by Parties to the Montreal Protocol on illegal trade in ozone-depleting substances(UNEP/Ozl. Pro.16/7), and a note by the Secretariat on streamlining the exchange of information on reducing illegal trade in ozone-depleting substances(UNEP/Ozl. Pro.16/8).
Details were given in paragraph 15 and Annex XVI of document UNEP/OzL. Pro.16/4 and in paragraph 4 and table 1 of document UNEP/OzL. Pro.16/4/Add.1, and in addition to the data presented there, Grenada had reported within the past few days.

In correspondence to the Secretariat dated 12 January 2011, reproduced in document UNEP/OzL. Pro/ImpCom/46/INF/3, the Lao People ' s Democratic Republic requested the revision of its HCFC-22 consumption data for 2009 from 22.03 metric tonnes to 39.09 metric tonnes.
The Chief Officer of the Multilateral Fund Secretariat introduced document UNEP/OzL. Pro14/8 on the impact and consequences of the fixed-exchange-rate mechanism. Explaining that it had been produced by the Secretariat in close cooperation with an external consultant, he suggested that the Meeting of the Parties might wish to hear a presentation from the consultant.
(f) To request the Secretariat to circulate the information document on the Party ' s potential non-compliance prepared for the Committee ' s thirty-seventh meeting(UNEP/OzL.
