It is important to find the right balance between the multi-accused and single-accused trials.
As the current multi-accused cases conclude, an increasing number of new single-accused cases will be able commence.
The three Trial Chambers ran six trials simultaneously and three trials of multi-accused, involving 21 accused, commenced much earlier than anticipated.
