இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததியினரே! நாம் திட்டம் ஆக உங்களை உங்கள் பகைவனிடமிருந்து இரட்சித்தோம்; மேலும்,தூர்( ஸினாய்) மலையின் வலப்பக்கத்தில் நாம்( தவ்ராத் வேதத்தை அருள்வத் ஆக) உங்களுக்கு வாக்குறுதியளித்தோம்; இன்னும் 'மன்னு ஸல்வாவை'( உணவாக) உங்கள் மீது நாம் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount(Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails.

O Descendants of Israel, indeed We rescued you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you on the right side of Mount Tur, and sent down Manna and Salwa upon you.

இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததியினரே! நாம் திட்டம் ஆக உங்களை உங்கள் பகைவனிடமிருந்து இரட்சித்தோம்; மேலும்,தூர்( ஸினாய்) மலையின் வலப்பக்கத்தில் நாம்( தவ்ராத் வேதத்தை அருள்வத் ஆக) உங்களுக்கு வாக்குறுதியளித்தோம்; இன்னும் 'மன்னு ஸல்வாவை'( உணவாக) உங்கள் மீது நாம் இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.

They said:"We were oppressed before you came, and have been since you have come to us." He answered:"It may well be that soon God may destroy your enemy and make you inherit the land, and then see how you behave.".
