And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance of the Beneficent Allah, We appoint for him a Shaitan, so he becomes his associate.
اور جوشخص خدا کی یاد سے اندھا بنتا ہے تو ہم اس کیلئے ایک شیطان مقرر کر دیتے ہیں جو اس کا ساتھی ہوتا ہے

اور جو شخص(خدائے) رحمان کی یاد سے صرف نظر کر لے تو ہم اُس کے لئے ایک شیطان مسلّط کر دیتے ہیں جو ہر وقت اس کے ساتھ جڑا رہتا ہے

Secret counsels are only(the work) of the Shaitan that he may cause to grieve those who believe,
کافروں کی سرگوشیاں تو شیطان(کی حرکات) سے ہیں(جو) اس لئے(کی جاتی ہیں)

So that He may make what the Shaitan casts a trial for those in whose hearts is disease and those whose hearts are hard; and most surely the unjust are in a great opposition.
یہ اس لئے کہ شیطانی ملاوٹ کو اللہ تعالیٰ ان لوگوں کی آزمائش کا ذریعہ بنا دے جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے اور جن کے دل سخت ہیں۔ بیشک ﻇالم لوگ گہری مخالفت میں ہیں

(As for) those of you who turned back on the day when the two armies met, only the Shaitan sought to cause them to make a slip on account of some deeds they had done,
بیشک وہ جو تم میں سے پھرگئے جس دن دونوں فوجیں ملی تھیں انہیں شیطان ہی نے لغزش دی ان کے بعض اعمال کے باعث اور بیشک اللہ نے

وہ مشورت تو شیطان ہی کی طرف سے ہے اس لیے کہ ایمان والوں کو رنج دے

those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.
جو کافر ہیں وہ شیطان کی راہ میں لڑتے ہیں سو تم شیطان کے ساتھیوں سے لڑو بے شک شیطان کا فریب کمزورہے

And when it is said to them: Follow what Allah has revealed, they say: Nay, we follow that on which we found our fathers. What! though the Shaitan calls them to the chastisement of the burning fire!
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے اس پر چلو جو الله اس پر چلو جو الله نے نازل کیا ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تو اس پر چلیں گے جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو پایا ہے کیا اگرچہ شیطان ان کے بڑوں کو دوزخ کے عذاب کی طرف بلاتا رہا ہو!

withdraw from them until they enter into some other discourse, and if the Shaitan causes you to forget, then do not sit after recollection with the unjust people.
باتوں میں مصروف ہوجائیں۔ اور اگر(یہ بات) شیطان تمہیں بھلا دے تو یاد آنے پر ظالم لوگوں کے ساتھ نہ بیٹھو

in the last day; and as for him whose associate is the Shaitan, an evil associate is he!
جس کا ہم نشین اور ساتھی شیطان ہو، وه بدترین ساتھی ہے!

And when it is said to them: Follow what Allah has revealed, they say: Nay, we follow that on which we found our fathers. What! though the Shaitan calls them to the chastisement of the burning fire!
اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی اتاری ہوئی وحی کی تابعداری کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے تو جس طریق پر اپنے باپ دادوں کو پایا ہے اسی کی تابعداری کریں گے، اگرچہ شیطان ان کے بڑوں کو دوزخ کےعذاب کی طرف بلاتا ہو!

do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man.
کوئی سازش نہ کرنے لگ جائیں بے شک شیطان انسان کا کھلا ہوا دشمن ہے

And he said to him whom he knew would be delivered of the two: Remember me with your lord; but the Shaitan caused him to forget mentioning(it) to his lord, so he remained in the prison a few years.
اوران دونو ں میں سے جسے شیطان نے اسے اپنے آقا سے ذکر کرنا بھلا دیا پھر قید میں کئی برس رہا

تاکہ شیطان کی آمیزش کو ان لوگوں کے لیے آزمائش بنا دے جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے

is apparent to you indeed; and the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he kept
تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہیں اور شیطان نے اُن کے اعمال ان کو آراستہ کر دکھائے
