The people of Noah, and Aad, and Thamood; and the people of Abraham, and the inhabitants of Madian, and the Overturned Cities?
あなたがた以前の者たち,ヌーフやアードやサムードの民の消息を,あなたがたは聞かなかったのか。
Has not the story reached you,(O people!), of those who(went) before you?- of the people of Noah, and‘Ad, and Thamud?- And of those who(came) after them?
And We gave to him Isaac and Jacob-- each one We guided, And Noah We guided before; and of his seed David and Solomon, Job and Joseph, Moses and Aaron-- even so We recompense the good-doers.
And[mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
And when We exacted a covenant from the prophets, and from thee(O Muhammad) and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant;
And when We took compact from the Prophets, and from thee, and from Noah, and Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, Mary's son; We took from them a solemn compact.
We took from the Prophets their covenant and from you(Prophet Muhammad), from Noah and Abraham, from Moses and Jesus the son of Mary. We took a solemn covenant from them.
And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As(We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant.
Lo! We inspire thee as We inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as We imparted unto David the Psalms;
They rejected Noah. Then We saved him and his people in the Ark to make them the successors of the rest. The others, who had called Our revelations lies, were drowned. Consider the fate of those who(rejected) Our warnings!
Has there not come to you the tidings of those who were before you-- the people of Noah, Ad, Thamood, the people of Abraham, the men of Midian and the subverted cities? Their Messengers came to them with the clear signs God would not wrong them, but themselves they wronged.
Have they not heard the stories of those before them? The people of Noah, and Aad, and Thamood; and the people of Abraham, and the inhabitants of Median, and the Overturned Cities? Their messengers came to them with the clear proofs. God never wronged them, but they used to wrong their own selves.
We have revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the Prophets after him, and We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the offspring of Jacob, and Jesus and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron and Solomon, and We gave to David Psalms.
But they rejected Noah, calling him a liar. So We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and made them successors(to the authority in the land), and drowned all those who had rejected Our signs as false. Consider, then, the fate of those who had been warned and still did not believe.
