And if We had sent to you a writing on a paper, then they had touched it with their hands, certainly those who disbelieve would have said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.

かれこそは，導きと真理の教えをもって使徒を遣し，仮令多神教徒たちが忌み嫌おうとも，凡ての宗教の上にそれを表わされる方である。
He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the True Religion that He may make it prevail over all religions, howsoever those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity might detest it.

仮令かれらがあなたを欺こうとしても，あなたにはアッラーがいれば十分である。かれこそは，その助けにより，また（多くの）信者たちによりあなたを力付けられる方であり，。
Should they seek to deceive you, God is enough for you: it was He who strengthened you with His help, and rallied the faithful around you, and bound their hearts together.

仮令あなたが，わたしを殺すためにその手を伸ばしても，わたしはあなたを殺すため，手を伸ばしはしない。わたしは万有の主アッラーを畏れる。
If thou dost stretch thy hand against me, to slay me, it is not for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee: for I do fear Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds.

かれらは口先で，アッラーの御光（イスラーム）を消そうと望んでいるが，仮令不信者たちが嫌おうとも，アッラーはかれの御光を全うされる。
They want to extinguish God's light with their mouths, but God refuses except to complete His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.

アッラーがもしかれらに良いところを認められれば，かれは必ずかれらに聞かせられる。だがかれが仮令聞かせられたとしても，かれらは（辞退して）背き去るであろう。
Had Allah known of any good in them, He would indeed have made them listen, and even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away, averse to the truth.

かれらは口先で，アッラーの御光（イスラーム）を消そうと望んでいるが，仮令不信者たちが嫌おうとも，アッラーはかれの御光を全うされる。
They seek to extinguish the light of Allah by blowing through their mouths; but Allah refuses everything except that He will perfect His light howsoever the unbelievers might abhor it.

かれらは口先で，アッラーの御光（イスラーム）を消そうと望んでいるが，仮令不信者たちが嫌おうとも，アッラーはかれの御光を全うされる。
They would like to extinguish the light of God with a blow from their mouths, but even though the unbelievers may dislike it, God has decided to let His light shine forever.

アッラーがもしかれらに良いところを認められれば，かれは必ずかれらに聞かせられる。だがかれが仮令聞かせられたとしても，かれらは（辞退して）背き去るであろう。
Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would[still] have turned away, while they were refusing.

かれらは口先で，アッラーの御光（イスラーム）を消そうと望んでいるが，仮令不信者たちが嫌おうとも，アッラーはかれの御光を全うされる。
Fain would they extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow but that His Light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest it.

もし服従，帰依すれば，たしかに正しく導かれ，仮令かれらが背き去るにしても，あなたの務めは，只（啓示を）かれらに伝えるだけである。
If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah.

And even if we had sent down to you, a written scripture on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would say: This is nothing but obvious magic” 65/3904/16{3998}.

アッラーに服従，帰依し，また使徒に従って（悪魔に）用心しなさい。仮令あなたがたが背いても，われの使徒の責務は，ただ明白に（啓示を）宣べ伝えるだけであることを知れ。
Obey Allah and obey the apostle, and beware; but if ye turn away, then know that upon Our apostle resteth only the plain preaching.

アッラーに服従，帰依し，また使徒に従って（悪魔に）用心しなさい。仮令あなたがたが背いても，われの使徒の責務は，ただ明白に（啓示を）宣べ伝えるだけであることを知れ。
Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and beware. But if you turn away, then know well that Our Messenger had merely to deliver the message clearly.

I think not that the Hour will ever come, and if indeed I am brought back unto my Lord I surely shall find better than this as a resort.

Obey Allah and obey the Apostle; but if you turn away, then Our Apostle's duty is only to communicate in clear terms.

かれらは確かに策謀を企んだ。仮令かれらの策謀がそれによって山を移す程のものであっても，かれらが策謀したのはアッラーの御手の中であった。
And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is[recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been[sufficient] to do away with the mountains.

それでアッラーに従え。また使徒に従え。仮令あなたがたが背き去っても，わが使徒の務めは，只明確に（啓示を）宣べ伝えることである。
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away- then upon Our Messenger is only[the duty of] clear notification.
