The physics of galaxy evolution is complex, involving not only gravity, but also more complex baryonic physics like gas heating and cooling, star formation, and feedback.
Tesla took into account the numerical patterns that occur in the universe, such as in star formation, the development of embryonic cells, and many others that some call“god's plan” or“the blueprint of god.
Observations of star formation, galaxy and quasar distributions, and larger structures agree well with Big Bang simulations of the formation of structure in the universe and are helping to complete details of the theory.
The AKARI data encompasses the cycle of star formation over three complete generations, over spatial scales of one to a hundred light years, in infrared light.
Because such groups contain four to eight galaxies in a very small region, they are excellent laboratories for the study of galaxy interactions and their effects, in particular on the formation of stars.
The color change from blue to red means that galaxies were forming stars in the past, but stopped at some point and transitioned to red as hot stars die.
The star sign shows the location of the emission peak in near infrared, which reflects the star formation activity, whereas the central plus sign shows the location of the radio emission peak in the wavelength of 6 cm which comes from the active supermassive black hole.
It is believed that the rate of star formation, during this period of galactic evolution, will HELP ME determine whether a galaxy is a spiral or elliptical galaxy; a slower star formation tends to produce a spiral galaxy.
By analysing high-quality spectra of six distant, massive, star-forming galaxies, Reinhard Genzel and colleagues find that the rotation velocities of the outer disks decrease with radius, suggesting that dark matter is less dominant than in the local Universe.
We may be witnessing one of the oldest and extreme modes of star formation in the universe,” said Kelsey Johnson, an astronomer at the University of Virginia and lead author of a study being published in the Astrophysical Journal.
Photons would have been emitted by all the stars contained in the observable universe since its creation. Beyond this impressive number, this study makes it possible to better understand the history of star formation in the universe.
W3 Main is a star forming region in the constellation Cassiopeia. Young massive stars, similar to those found in Trapezium in the constellation Orion, are crowded together in the region shown in red near the center of the image.
Andrew Hopkins, from the Australian Astronomical Observatory, said while it had been known for some time that the rate at which the Universe was forming starswas declining, the new data showed that the rate of energy production was reducing the same way across all different wavelengths.".
Ideally, the team at the origin of the study would like to trace this type of measurement as close as possible to the Big Bang, which would be an opportunity to draw a complete history of the formation of stars in the universe.
The specific topics of astronomy depend on each member of the group, but topics generally fall into two categories: evolution and structure of individual stars(e.g. star forming regions, effects of mass loss, nuclearsynthesis, planetary nebulae) and galaxy-scale evolution of stars e.g. initial mass function, enrichment of heavy elements in a galaxy by supernovae and stellar wind.
Study of the region where jets are generated and accelerated Structure of accretion disks around AGN's black holes Study of movement of star formation region within our galaxy, etc., by H2O maser Observation of H2O maser in outer galaxies Observation of magnetosphere of protostars Among the projects within JAXA's Space Science Long-term Plan, the VSOP-2 will look closely into the physics of extreme astrophysical region.
I'm interested in how the galaxy population forms, why do we get big star forming galaxies, little star forming galaxies, or ones that aren't doing much anymore, what causes them to vary in that way. That is a big question and you can tackle that in a lot of different ways, there's a lot of different physics.
