Musa said to his people:
മൂസാ തന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു:

And certainly We gave Musa nine clear signs; so ask the children of Israel.
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ ഒമ്പതു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി. അദ്ദേഹം അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുകയും,

Musa said to them: Woe to you!
മൂസ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു:" നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നാശം?

Musa said to them: Woe to you!
മൂസാ അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞു:

And certainly We revealed to Musa, saying: Travel by night with My servants,
മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം ഇപ്രകാരം ബോധനം നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി: എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരെയും കൊണ്ട് രാത്രിയില്‍ നീ പോകുക.

When Musa said to his family: Surely I see fire; I will bring to you from it some news, or I will bring
മൂസ തന്റെ കുടുംബത്തോടുപറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം:" തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ തീ കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. ഞാനവിടെനിന്ന് വല്ല വിവരവുമായി വരാം.

Then We sent, after them, Musa with Our signs unto Fir'awn and his chiefs, but they wronged them.
പിന്നീട് അവരുടെയൊക്കെ ശേഷം മൂസായെ നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുമായി ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍റെയും അവന്‍റെ പ്രമാണിമാരുടെയും അടുക്കലേക്ക് നാം നിയോഗിച്ചു.

When Musa said to his family:
മൂസാ തന്‍റെ കുടുംബത്തോട് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം:

And(We destroyed) Qaroun and Firon and Haman; and certainly Musa came to them with clear arguments,
ഖാറൂനെയും ഫറവോനെയും ഹാമാനെയും നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു. വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളുമായി മൂസ അവരുടെ അടുത്തു ചെന്നിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ അവര്‍ അഹങ്കരിച്ചു.

And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa nine manifest signs- ask thou the Children of Israel--so when he came unto them,
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ ഒമ്പതു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി. അദ്ദേഹം അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുകയും, മൂസാ! തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്നെ ഞാന്‍ മാരണം ബാധിച്ച ഒരാളായിട്ടാണ് കരുതുന്നത് എന്ന് ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് പറയുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തെപ്പറ്റി

And indeed We gave Musa(Moses), after We had destroyed the generations of old, the Scripture[the Taurat(Torah)] as an enlightenment for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might remember(or receive admonition).
പൂര്‍വ്വതലമുറകളെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം, ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഉള്‍കാഴ്ച നല്‍കുന്ന തെളിവുകളും മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശനവും കാരുണ്യവുമായിക്കൊണ്ട് മൂസായ്ക്ക് നാം വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി. അവര്‍ ചിന്തിച്ച് ഗ്രഹിച്ചേക്കാമല്ലോ.

And when Musa said to his people: O my people! remember the favor
മൂസാ തന്റെ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം:" എന്റെ ജനമേ,

And when Musa said to his people: O my people! why do you give me trouble?
മൂസ തന്റെ ജനതയോട് പറഞ്ഞത് ഓര്‍ക്കുക:" എന്റെ ജനമേ, നിങ്ങളെന്തിനാണ് എന്നെ പ്രയാസപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്?

They said: O our people! verily we have hearkened Unto a Book sent down after Musa, confirming that which was before it, guiding Unto the truth and a straight path.
അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ സമുദായമേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും മൂസായ്ക്ക് ശേഷം അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും, അതിന് മുമ്പുള്ളതിനെ സത്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുമായ ഒരു വേദഗ്രന്ഥം ഞങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. സത്യത്തിലേക്കും നേരായ പാതയിലേക്കും അത് വഴി കാട്ടുന്നു.

Musa said to his people: Ask help from Allah and be patient; surely the land is Allah's; He causes such of His servants to inherit it as He pleases, and the end is for those who guard(against evil).
മൂസാ തന്റെ ജനതയോടു പറഞ്ഞു:" നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവോട് സഹായം തേടുക. എല്ലാം ക്ഷമിക്കുക. ഭൂമി അല്ലാഹുവിന്റേതാണ്. തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരില്‍ താനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരെ അവനതിന്റെ അവകാശികളാക്കും. അന്തിമ വിജയം ഭക്തന്മാര്‍ക്കാണ്.”.

And recall what time Musa said unto his people: verily Allah commandeth you that ye slaughter a cow. They said: makest thou a jest of us? He said take refuge
ഓര്‍ക്കുക: മൂസ തന്റെ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞു:" അല്ലാഹു ‎നിങ്ങളോട് ഒരു പശുവെ അറുക്കാന്‍ കല്‍പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു." ‎അവര്‍ ചോദിച്ചു:" നീ ഞങ്ങളെ പരിഹസിക്കുകയാണോ?" ‎മൂസ പറഞ്ഞു:" അവിവേകികളില്‍ പെടാതിരിക്കാന്‍ ‎ഞാന്‍

Musa said unto his people:
മൂസാ തന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു:

Then when they had cast down, Musa said: that which ye have brought is magic,
അവര്‍ ഇട്ടപ്പോള്‍ മൂസ പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈ കാണിച്ചതൊക്കെ വെറും ജാലവിദ്യയാണ്. അല്ലാഹു അതിനെ തോല്‍പിക്കും; തീര്‍ച്ച. സംശയമില്ല:

Then when they had cast down, Musa said: that which ye have brought is magic, verily Allah will soon make it vain; verily Allah setteth not right the work of the corrupters.
അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ ഇട്ടപ്പോള്‍ മൂസാ പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത് ജാലവിദ്യയാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു അതിനെ പൊളിച്ചു കളയുന്നതാണ്‌. കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നവരുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം അല്ലാഹു ഫലവത്താക്കിത്തീര്‍ക്കുകയില്ല; തീര്‍ച്ച.
