And Nuh cried out to his Lord and said: My Lord! surely my son is of my family, and Thy promise is surely true, and Thou art the most just of the judges.
และนุห์ได้ร้องเรียนต่อพระเจ้าของเขาโดยกล่าวว่าข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของพระองค์แท้จริงลูกชายของข้าพระองค์เป็นคนหนึ่งในครอบครัวของข้าพระองค์และแท้จริงสัญญาของพระองค์นั้นเป็นความจริงและพระองค์ท่านนั้นทรงตัดสินเที่ยงธรรมยิ่งในหมู่ผู้ตัดสินทั้งหลายHe said: O Nuh! surely he is not of your family; surely he is(the doer of) other than good deeds, therefore ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge; surely I admonish you lest you may be of the ignorant.

Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun rebellious, disobedient to Allah.
And Nuh! recall what time he cried aforetime; so we answered him and delivered him and his house hold from a calamity mighty.

และกี่ศตวรรษแล้วหลังจากนูหที่เราได้ทำลายและพอเพียงกับพระเจ้าของเจ้าผู้ทรงรอบรู้ทรงเห็นความผิดของปวงบ่าวของพระองค์They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death.
