Or have they taken for worship(other) aliha(gods) besides Him? Say:"Bring your proof:" This(the Quran) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.
کیا ان(کافروں) نے اسے چھوڑ کر اور معبود بنا لئے ہیں؟ فرما دیجئے: اپنی دلیل لاؤ، یہ(قرآن) ان لوگوں کا ذکر ہے جو میرے ساتھ ہیں اور ان کا(بھی) ذکر ہے جو مجھ سے پہلے تھے بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر لوگ حق کو نہیں جانتے اِس لئے وہ اِس سے رُوگردانی کئے ہوئے ہیں

obscured from your sight? shall we compel you to accept it when ye are averse to it?
کیا ہم اس کے لیے تمہیں مجبور کرسکتے ہیں اور تم ہو کہ اس سے ناخوش ہو رہے ہو 29 اور اے قوم!

But if they are averse, We have not sent thee as a warder over them. Thine is only to convey(the message).
پھر بھی اگر نہ مانیں تو ہم نے آپ کو ان پر محافظ بنا کرنہیں بھیجا ہے آپ پر تو صرف پہنچا دینا ہے اور جب ہم انسان کو اپنی کوئی رحمت چکھاتے ہیں

But if they are averse, We have not sent thee as a warder over them.
اب اگر یہ لوگ منہ موڑتے ہیں تو اے نبیؐ، ہم نے تم کو ان پر نگہبان بنا کر

it will be better for you; but if ye are averse, then know that ye cannot escape Allah.
تمہا را بھلا ہے اور اگر منہ پھیرو تو جان لو کہ اللہ کو نہ تھکا سکو گے

And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them.
اور ہم نے انہیں اپنی نشانیاں بھی دی تھیں پر وہ ان سے روگردانی کرتے تھے

(7) They desire to extinguish with their mouths, the light of God; but God will perfect His light, though the unbelievers be averse.
