اے ایمان والو! اکثر علما اور عابد، لوگوں کا مال ناحق کھا جاتے ہیں اور اللہ کی راه سے روک دیتے ہیں اور جو لوگ سونے چاندی کا خزانہ رکھتے ہیں اور اللہ کی راه میں خرچ نہیں کرتے، انہیں دردناک عذاب کی خبر پہنچا دیجئے

O Believers, indeed most of the scholars and monks of the people of the Book devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar them from the Way of Allah.33 Give them the good news of a painful torment, who hoard up gold and silver and expend not these in the Way of Allah.
اے ایمان والو، اہل کتاب کے اکثر علماء اور مشائخ لوگوں کے مال باطل طریقوں سے کھاتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو اﷲ کے راستے سے روکتے ہیں اور جو لوگ سونا اور چاندی جمع کر کے رکھتے ہیں اور ان کو اﷲ کی راہ میں خرچ نہیں کرتے، ان کو ایک درد ناک عذاب کی خوش خبری دے دو۔(34
