And remember Our servant Job[in the Quran]. When he called out to his Lord,‘The devil has visited on me hardship and torment,'.
اور ہمارے بندے ایوب کو یاد کر جب اس نے اپنے رب کو پکارا کہ مجھے شیطان نے تکلیف اور عذاب پہنچایا ہے

Before them Noah's people also gave the lie(to his Message). They rejected Our servant as a liar, saying:“He is a madman”;
اِن سے پہلے نوحؑ کی قوم جھٹلا چکی ہے اُنہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھوٹا قرار دیا

Be patient over what they say, and remember Our servant, David,[the man] of strength. Indeed he was a penitent[soul].
(اے پیغمبر) یہ جو کچھ کہتے ہیں اس پر صبر کرو۔ اور ہمارے بندے داؤد کو یاد کرو جو صاحب قوت تھے(اور) بےشک وہ رجوع کرنے والے تھے

Before them the people of Nuh rejected, so they rejected Our servant and called(him) mad, and he was driven away.
اِن سے پہلے نوحؑ کی قوم جھٹلا چکی ہے اُنہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھوٹا قرار دیا اور کہا کہ یہ دیوانہ ہے، اور وہ بری طرح جھڑکا گیا

And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord:
اور ہمارے بندۂ(خاص) ایوب(ع) کو یاد کرو

آپ ان کی باتوں پر صبر کریں اور ہمارے بندے داؤد(علیہ السلام) کو یاد کریں جو بڑی قوت واﻻ تھا، یقیناً وه بہت رجوع کرنے واﻻ تھا

ان سے پہلے قوم نوح نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا پس انہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھٹلایا اور کہا دیوانہ ہے اور اسے جھڑک دیا گیا

ان سے پہلے قوم نوح نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی کہ انہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھٹلایا اور کہہ دیا کہ یہ دیوانہ ہے بلکہ اسے جھڑکا بھی گیا

And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord,"Indeed,
اور ہمارے بندۂ(خاص) ایوب(ع) کو یاد کرو

Bear patiently what they say, and remember Our servant Dawood, the possessor of power; surely he was frequent in returning(to Allah).
(اے میرے رسول(ص)) جو کچھ یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں اس پر صبر کیجئے! اور ہمارے بندے داؤد(ع) کو یاد کیجئے جو قوت والے تھے بے شک وہ ہر معاملہ میں(اللہ کی طرف) بڑے رجوع کرنے والے تھے

The people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said,"A madman," and he was repelled.
ان سے پہلے قومِ نوح(ع) نے جھٹلایا سو انہوں نے ہمارے بندۂ خاص کو جھٹلایا اور ان پر جھوٹا ہو نے کا الزام لگایا اور اسے جھڑکا بھی گیا

The people of Noah, who lived before them, had also rejected(Our guidance). They rejected Our servant and said,"He is an insane person so let us drive him away".
ان سے پہلے قوم نوح نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا پس انہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھٹلایا اور کہا دیوانہ ہے اور اسے جھڑک دیا گیا

Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back[to Allah].
ان کی اِن باتوں پر صبر کر اور ہمارے بندے داؤد کو یاد کر جو بڑا طاقتور تھا بے شک وہ رجوع کرنے والا تھا

Recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying,"Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment,".
اور ہمارے بندۂ(خاص) ایوب(ع) کو یاد کرو جب انہوں نے اپنے پروردگار کو پکارا کہ شیطان نے مجھے سختی اور اذیت پہنچائی ہے

Before them the people of Nuh rejected, so they rejected Our servant and called(him) mad, and he was driven away.
ان سے پہلے نوحؑ کی قوم نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی تو انہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھٹلایا اور کہا کہ دیوانہ ہے اور انہیں ڈانٹا بھی
