believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish their prayers and pay the obligatory charity, and fear none except Allah. May these be among the guided.
نہ ڈرا۔ سو امید ہے کہ یہی لوگ ہدایت پانے والوں میں ہو جائیں گے

who fulfil their devotional obligations, pay the zakat, and fear no one but God, can visit the mosques of God. They may hope to be among the guided.
نہ ڈرا۔ سو امید ہے کہ یہی لوگ ہدایت پانے والوں میں ہو جائیں گے

indeed your Lord well knows him who has strayed from His path, and He well knows the guided.
کون اس کے راستہ سے بھٹکا ہوا ہے اور ہدایت یافتہ کو بھی خوب جانتا ہے

And whomsoever Allah guideth, then he is the guided; and whomsoever He sendeth astray--for such thou wilt by no means find friends beside Him. And We shall gather them on the Day of Judgment on their faces, blind and deaf and dumb; their abode being Hell; so oft as it grosweth dull We shall increase for them the Flame.
اور جسے اللہ راہ دے وہی راہ پر ہے اور جسے گمراہ کرے تو ان کے لیے اس کے سوا کوئی حمایت والے نہ پاؤ گے اور ہم انہیں قیامت کے دن ان کے منہ کے بل اٹھائیں گے اندھے اور گونگے اور بہرے ان کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے جب کبھی بجھنے پر آئے گی ہم اسے اور بھڑکادیں گے

He well knows the guided.
وہی بہتر جانتا ہے کہ ہدایت یافتہ کون ہے

Only he shall inhabit God's places of worship who believes in God and the Last Day, and performs the prayer, and pays the alms, and fears none but God alone; it may be that those will be among the guided.
درحقیقت مسجدوں کو آباد وہ کرتا ہے جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے، نماز قائم کرتا ہے اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرتا ہے اور اللہ کے سوا اور کسی سے نہیں ڈرتا۔ انہی کے متعلق یہ امید کی جا سکتی ہے کہ وہ ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں میں سے ہوں گے

for then I shall be gone astray, and shall not remain of the guided.
کہ اس حالت میں تو میں بے راه ہوجاؤں گا اور راه راست پر چلنے والوں میں نہ رہوں گا

Say thou: verily I am forbidden to worship those whom ye call upon beside Allah. Say thou: I shall not follow your vain desires, for then I shall be gone astray, and shall not remain of the guided.
اے رسول(ص) کہہ دیجیے! کہ مجھے منع کیا گیا ہے کہ میں ان(معبودانِ باطل) کی عبادت کروں جن کو تم اللہ کے سوا خدا کہہ کر پکارتے ہو میں تمہاری خواہشات کی پیروی نہیں کروں گا۔ اس صورت میں تو میں گمراہ ہو جاؤں گا۔ اور ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں سے نہ رہوں گا

درحقیقت مسجدوں کو آباد وہ کرتا ہے جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے، نماز قائم کرتا ہے اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرتا ہے اور اللہ کے سوا اور کسی سے نہیں ڈرتا۔ انہی کے متعلق یہ امید کی جا سکتی ہے کہ وہ ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں میں سے ہوں گے

اللہ جس کی رہنمائی کرے تو وه ہدایت یافتہ ہے اور جسے وه راه سے بھٹکا دے ناممکن ہے کہ تو اس کا مددگار اس کے سوا کسی اور کو پائے، ایسے لوگوں کا ہم بروز قیامت اوندھے منھ حشر کریں گے، دراں حالیکہ وه اندھے، گونگے اور بہرے ہوں گے، ان کا ٹھکانہ جہنم ہوگا۔ جب کبھی وه بجھنے لگے گی ہم ان پر اسے اور بھڑکا دیں گے
