اور جب تم زمین میں سفر کرو تو تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم نماز میں قصر کرو(یعنی چار رکعت فرض کی جگہ دو پڑھو) اگر تمہیں اندیشہ ہے کہ کافر تمہیں تکلیف میں مبتلا کر دیں گے۔ بیشک کفار تمہارے کھلے دشمن ہیں

Indeed those who say:'Allah is the third of the Trinity' became unbelievers. There is but One God. If they do not desist in what they say, a painful punishment will afflict those of them that disbelieve.
بیشک ایسے لوگ(بھی) کافر ہوگئے ہیں جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تین(معبودوں) میں سے تیسرا ہے، حالانکہ معبودِ یکتا کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، اور اگر وہ ان(بیہودہ باتوں) سے جو وہ کہہ رہے ہیں بازنہ آئے تو ان میں سے کافروں کو دردناک عذاب ضرور پہنچے گا

کہہ دیجئے کہ تم ہمارے بارے میں جس چیز کا انتظار کر رہے ہو وه دو بھلائیوں میں سے ایک ہے اور ہم تمہارے حق میں اس کا انتظار کرتے ہیں کہ یا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے پاس سے کوئی سزا تمہیں دے

When a sign comes to them, they say,“We will not believe unless we are given the like of what was given to God's messengers.” God knows best where to place His message. Humiliation from God and severe torment will afflict the criminals for their scheming.
اور جب ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی آئے تو کہتے ہی ہم ہر گز ایمان نہ لائیں گے جب تک ہمیں بھی ویسا ہی نہ ملے جیسا اللہ کے رسولوں کو ملا اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جہاں اپنی رسالت رکھے عنقریب مجرموں کو اللہ کے یہاں ذلت پہنچے گی اور سخت عذاب بدلہ ان کے مکر کا

Say,"Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands?
کہہ دو کہ تم ہمارے حق میں دو بھلائیوں میں سے ایک کے منتظر ہو اور ہم تمہارے حق میں اس بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ خدا(یا تو) اپنے پاس سے تم پر کوئی عذاب نازل کرے

And when a sign comes to them, they say,"Never will we believe until we are given like that which was given to the messengers of Allah." Allah is most knowing of where He places His message. There will afflict those who committed crimes debasement before Allah and severe punishment for what they used to conspire.
اور جب ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی آئے تو کہتے ہی ہم ہر گز ایمان نہ لائیں گے جب تک ہمیں بھی ویسا ہی نہ ملے جیسا اللہ کے رسولوں کو ملا اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جہاں اپنی رسالت رکھے عنقریب مجرموں کو اللہ کے یہاں ذلت پہنچے گی اور سخت عذاب بدلہ ان کے مکر کا

Those who disbelieve and repulse others from the path of GOD, and from the Sacred Masjid that we designated for all the people- be they natives or visitors- and seek to pollute it and corrupt it, we will afflict them with painful retribution.
جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور اللہ کی راہ سے روکنے لگے اور اس حرمت والی مسجد سے بھی جسے ہم نے تمام لوگوں کے لیے مساوی کر دیا ہے، وہیں کے رہنے والے ہوں یا باہر کے ہوں، جو بھی ظلم کے ساتھ وہاں الحاد کا ارادہ کرے، ہم اسے دردناک عذاب چکھائیں گے۔'

They(Messengers) said:"O Lout(Lot)! Verily, we are the Messengers from your Lord! They shall not reach you! So travel with your family in a part of the night, and let not any of you look back, but your wife(will remain behind), verily, the punishment which will afflict them, will afflict her. Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?".
اب فرشتوں نے کہا اے لوط! ہم تیرے پروردگار کے بھیجے ہوئے ہیں ناممکن ہے کہ یہ تجھ تک پہنچ جائیں پس تو اپنے گھر والوں کو لے کر کچھ رات رہے نکل کھڑا ہو۔ تم میں سے کسی کو مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھنا چاہئے، بجز تیری بیوی کے، اس لئے کہ اسے بھی وہی پہنچنے واﻻ ہے جو ان سب کو پہنچے گا، یقیناً ان کے وعدے کا وقت صبح کا ہے، کیا صبح بالکل قریب نہیں

let not any of you look back, but your wife(will remain behind), verily, the punishment which will afflict them, will afflict her. Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?".
تم میں کوئی پیٹھ پھیر کر نہ دیکھے سوائے تمہاری عورت کے اسے بھی وہی پہنچنا ہے جو انہیں پہنچے گا بیشک ان کا وعدہ صبح کے وقت کاہے کیا صبح قریب نہیں

اور جب ان کو کوئی آیت پہنچتی ہے تو یوں کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ہرگز ایمان نہ ﻻئیں گے جب تک کہ ہم کو بھی ایسی ہی چیز نہ دی جائے جو اللہ کے رسولوں کو دی جاتی ہے، اس موقع کو تو اللہ ہی خوب جانتا ہے کہ کہاں وه اپنی پیغمبری رکھے؟ عنقریب ان لوگوں کو جنہوں نے جرم کیا ہے اللہ کے پاس پہنچ کر ذلت پہنچے گی اور ان کی شرارتوں کے مقابلے میں سخت سزائیں

in the hereafter, for surely we turn to Thee. He said:(As for) My chastisement, I will afflict with it whom I please, and My mercy encompasses all things; so I will ordain it(specially) for those who guard(against evil) and pay the poor-rate,
