As soon as Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said,“Load upon the ship of each a pair, two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has preceded,
यहाँ तक कि जब हमारा आदेश आ गया और तंदूर उबल पड़ा तो हमने कहा,"हर जाति में से दो-दो के जोड़े चढ़ा लो

उन्होंने स्वयं अपने आप पर अत्याचार किया। फिर जब तेरे रब का आदेश आ गया तो उसके वे पूज्य, जिन्हें वे अल्लाह से हटकर पुकारा करते थे, उनके कुछ भी काम न आ सके। उन्होंने विनाश के अतिरिक्त उनके लिए किसी और चीज़ में अभिवृद्धि नहीं की।
