مگر جو شخص رسول کی مخالفت پر کمر بستہ ہو اور اہل ایمان کی روش کے سوا کسی اور روش پر چلے، درآں حالیکہ اس پر راہ راست واضح ہو چکی ہو،

Shall he then whose breast Allah hath expanded for Islam, so that he followeth a light from his Lord be as he whose heart is hardened?
کیا وہ شخص جس کے دل کو خدا نے اسلام کے لئے کشادہ کردیا ہے تو وہ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے نورانیت کا

peace be upon him who followeth the guidance.
سلامتی اس کے لیے ہے جو سیدھی راہ پر چلے

Shall he then whose breast Allah hath expanded for Islam, so that he followeth a light from his Lord be as he whose heart is hardened? Then woe Unto
کیا وه شخص جس کا سینہ اللہ تعالیٰ نےاسلام کے لئے کھول دیا ہے پس وه اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک نور پر ہے

peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.
کر آئے ہیں اور سلامتی اس کے لیے ہے جو سیدھی راہ پر چلے

کیا وہ شخص جس کے سینہ کو اللہ نے(قبولِ) اسلام کیلئے کھول دیا ہے اور وہ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے نور(ہدایت) پر ہے(قسی القلب لوگوں کی طرح ہو سکتا ہے)

Shall he then whose breast Allah hath expanded for Islam, so that he followeth a light from his Lord be as he whose heart is hardened? Then woe Unto those whose hearts are hardened against remembrance of Allah.
بھلا اللہ نے جس شخص کا سینہ اسلام کے لئے کھول دیا ہو تو وہ اپنے رب کی طرف سے نور پر(فائز)

after the guidance(of Allah) hath been manifested unto him, and followeth other than the believer's way, We appoint for him that unto which he himself hath turned,
مومنوں کے رستے کے سوا اور رستے پر چلے تو جدھر وہ چلتا ہے ہم اسے ادھر ہی چلنے دیں گے اور(قیامت کے دن)

So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance.
پس تم دونوں اس کے پاس جاؤ اور کہو: ہم تیرے رب کے بھیجے ہوئے(رسول) ہیں سو تو بنی اسرائیل کو(اپنی غلامی سے آزاد کرکے) ہمارے ساتھ بھیج دے اور انہیں(مزید) اذیت نہ پہنچا، بیشک ہم تیرے پاس تیرے رب کی طرف سے نشانی لے کر آئے ہیں، اور اس شخص پر سلامتی ہو جس نے ہدایت کی پیروی کی

So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.
پس تم دونوں اس کے پاس جاؤ اور کہو: ہم تیرے رب کے بھیجے ہوئے(رسول) ہیں سو تو بنی اسرائیل کو(اپنی غلامی سے آزاد کرکے) ہمارے ساتھ بھیج دے اور انہیں(مزید) اذیت نہ پہنچا، بیشک ہم تیرے پاس تیرے رب کی طرف سے نشانی لے کر آئے ہیں، اور اس شخص پر سلامتی ہو جس نے ہدایت کی پیروی کی

follow not the footsteps of the Satan. And whosoever followeth the footsteps of the Satan,
جو شخص شیطان کے قدموں پر چلے گا تو شیطان تو بےحیائی(کی باتیں)

Wherefore if they contend with thee, say thou: have surrendered myself unto Allah and he who followeth me. And say thou unto those who have been vouchsafed the Book and unto the illiterates; do you(also) accept Islam? Then if they accept Islam, they are of a surety guided; and if they turn away, then upon thee is only the preaching, and Allah is Beholder of His bondsmen.
پھر بھی اگر یہ آپ سے جھگڑیں توآپ کہہ دیں کہ میں اور میرے تابعداروں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے اپنا سر تسلیم خم کر دیا ہے اور اہل کتاب سے اور انپڑھ لوگوں سے کہہ دیجیئے! کہ کیا تم بھی اطاعت کرتے ہو؟ پس اگر یہ بھی تابعدار بن جائیں تو یقیناً ہداہت والے ہیں اور اگر یہ روگردانی کریں، تو آپ پر صرف پہنچا دینا ہے اور اللہ بندوں کو خوب دیکھ بھال رہا ہے

And believe not save in one who followeth your religion- Say(O Muhammad): Lo! the guidance is Allah's Guidance- that anyone is given the like of that which was given unto you or that they may argue with you in the presence of their Lord. Say(O Muhammad): Lo! the bounty is in Allah's hand.
اور یقین نہ لاؤ مگر اس کا جو تمہارے دین کا پیرو ہو تم فرمادو کہ اللہ ہی کی ہدایت ہدایت ہے(یقین کا ہے کا نہ لاؤ)
