Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a murky spring, and found a people in its vicinity.

یہاں تک کہ جب پہنچا سورج ڈوبنے کی جگہ، پایا کہ وہ ڈوبتا ہے ایک دلدل کی ندی میں

دین کے پانی پر جب آپ پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ لوگوں کی ایک جماعت وہاں پانی پلا رہی ہے اور دو عورتیں الگ کھڑی اپنے(جانوروں کو) روکتی ہوئی دکھائی دیں، پوچھا کہ تمہارا کیا حال ہے،

Until when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he perceived it setting in a miry spring, and he found beside it a nation. We said: Zul Qarnian! either chastise them

Until when he came to the rising of the sun he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun.

یہاں تک کہ جب وہ طلوع آفتاب کی جگہ پہنچا تو دیکھا کہ سورج ایک ایسی قوم پر طلوع ہو رہا ہے جن کے لیے ہم نے آفتاب سے بچنے کی کوئی آڑ نہیں رکھی

course until when he reached(a place) between the two mountains, he found on that side of them a people who could hardly understand a word.

جب دو پہاڑوں کے بیچ پہنچا اُن سے ادھر کچھ ایسے لوگ پائے کہ کوئی بات سمجھتے معلوم نہ ہوتے تھے

Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a murky spring, and found a people in its vicinity. We said,“O Zul-Qarnain, you may either inflict a penalty, or else treat them kindly.”.

یہاں تک کہ سورج ڈوبنے کی جگہ پہنچ گیا اور اسے ایک دلدل کےچشمے میں غروب ہوتا ہوا پایا اور اس چشمے کے پاس ایک قوم کو بھی پایا، ہم نے فرما دیا کہ اے ذوالقرنین! یا تو تو انہیں تکلیف پہنچائے یا ان کے بارے میں تو کوئی بہترین روش اختیار کرے

Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it[as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said,"O Dhul-Qarnayn,

To the West where he found the sun setting into a warm source(spring) of water and a people living near by. We asked him,"Dhu'l-Qarnayn, you may punish

یہاں تک کہ جب سورج کے غروب ہونے کی جگہ پہنچا تو اسے ایسا پایا کہ ایک کیچڑ کی ندی میں ڈوب رہا ہے

Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of murky water and near it he found some people. We said,"Dhu'l-Qarnayn! You can either punish them

And when he came to the water of Madyan he found a group of men, watering their animals; and away from them he found two women restraining their animals; he said,“What is the matter with you?”!

اور جب وہ(موسٰی) مدین کے پانی پر وارد ہوا وہاں اس نے الناس کی امت پائی وہ پانی پلاتےتھےء ان دوسروں کے علاوہ اس نے وہاں دو عورتوں کو پایا وہ ہٹ کر کھڑی ہوئی تھیں۔ پوچھا تمھارا مسئلہ کیا ہے؟ بولیں!
