In you are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in you they eat on the mountains: in the middle of you they commit lewdness.
تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو چغلخوری کر کے خون کرواتے ہیں۔ اور تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو پہاڑ کے مزاروں پر دی گئیں قربانیوں کو کھاتے ہیں۔” تمہارے درمیان وہ لوگ ہیں جو جنسی گناہ کرتے ہیں

establish worship. Lo! worship preserveth from lewdness and iniquity, but verily remembrance of Allah is more important. And Allah knoweth what ye do.
نماز کے پابند رہو۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ نماز بےحیائی اور بری باتوں سے روکتی ہے۔ اور خدا کا ذکر بڑا(اچھا کام) ہے۔ اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو خدا اُسے جانتا ہے

Slanderous men have been in thee to shed blood; and in thee they have eaten upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they have committed lewdness.
تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو چغلخوری کر کے خون کرواتے ہیں۔ اور تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو پہاڑ کے مزاروں پر دی گئیں قربانیوں کو کھاتے ہیں۔” تمہارے درمیان وہ لوگ ہیں جو جنسی گناہ کرتے ہیں

In you, talebearers have come to shed blood; in you, they have eaten upon the mountains; and in your midst, they have committed lewdness.
تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو چغلخوری کر کے خون کرواتے ہیں۔ اور تمہارے اندر وہ لوگ ہیں جو پہاڑ کے مزاروں پر دی گئیں قربانیوں کو کھاتے ہیں۔” تمہارے درمیان وہ لوگ ہیں جو جنسی گناہ کرتے ہیں

As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. And if they testify(to the truth of the allegation) then confine them
مسلمانو تمہاری عورتوں میں جو بدکاری کا ارتکاب کر بیٹھیں ان پر اپنے لوگوں میں سے چار شخصوں کی شہادت لو۔

As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. And if they testify(to the truth of the allegation) then confine them to the houses until death take them or(until) Allah appoint for them a way(through new legislation).
اور تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جو بدکاری کا ارتکاب کر بیٹھیں تو ان پر اپنے لوگوں میں سے چار مردوں کی گواہی طلب کرو، پھر اگر وہ گواہی دے دیں تو ان عورتوں کو گھروں میں بند کر دو یہاں تک کہ موت ان کے عرصۂ حیات کو پورا کر دے یا اللہ ان کے لئے کوئی راہ(یعنی نیا حکم) مقرر فرما دے

اس سے برائی اور بے حیائی کو پھیر دیں بیشک وہ ہمارے چنے ہوئے بندوں میں سےہے

And when they do some lewdness they say: We found our fathers doing it
اور جب کوئی بے حیائی کا کام کرتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے اپنے بزرگوں کو

If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four(Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them,
مسلمانو تمہاری عورتوں میں جو بدکاری کا ارتکاب کر بیٹھیں ان پر اپنے لوگوں میں سے چار شخصوں کی شہادت لو۔ اگر وہ(ان کی بدکاری کی)گواہی دیں

to turn away evil and lewdness from him; indeed He is one of Our chosen bondmen.(* Allah saved him and he never desired this immorality.).
ہم اس سے بدی اور بے حیائی کو دور کر دیں، در حقیقت وہ ہمارے چنے ہوئے بندوں میں سے تھا

And when they do some lewdness they say: We found our fathers doing it
اور جب وہ کوئی بے حیائی کا کام کرتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے اپنے آباء

to turn away evil and lewdness from him; indeed He is one of Our chosen bondmen.(* Allah saved him and he never desired this immorality.).
اس سے برائی اور بے حیائی کو پھیر دیں(ف۶۳) بیشک وہ ہمارے چنے ہوئے بندوں میں سے ہے(ف۶۴

that We might ward off from him evil and lewdness. Lo! he was of Our chosen slaves.
یوں اس لیے(کیا گیا) کہ ہم ان سے برائی اور بےحیائی کو روک دیں۔ بےشک وہ ہمارے خالص بندوں میں سے تھے

And when they do some lewdness they say: We found our fathers doing it
اور جب وہ کوئی بے حیائی کا کام کرتے ہیں(تو)

to turn away evil and lewdness from him; indeed He is one of Our chosen bondmen.(* Allah saved him and he never desired this immorality.).
یوں اس لیے(کیا گیا) کہ ہم ان سے برائی اور بےحیائی کو روک دیں۔ بےشک وہ ہمارے خالص بندوں میں سے تھے

And when they do some lewdness they say: We found our fathers doing it and Allah hath enjoined it on us. Say: Allah, verily, enjoineth not lewdness. Tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?
اور وه لوگ جب کوئی فحش کام کرتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو اسی طریق پر پایا ہے اور اللہ نے بھی ہم کو یہی بتایا ہے۔ آپ کہہ دیجیئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فحش بات کی تعلیم نہیں دیتا، کیا اللہ کے ذمہ ایسی بات لگاتے ہو جس کی تم سند نہیں رکھتے؟?

And indeed the woman desired him; and he too would have desired her were he not to witness the sign of his Lord*; this is what We did, to turn away evil and lewdness from him; indeed He is one of Our chosen bondmen.(* Allah saved him and he never desired this immorality.).
اس عورت نے یوسف کی طرف قصد کیا اور یوسف اس کا قصد کرتے اگر وه اپنے پروردگار کی دلیل نہ دیکھتے، یونہی ہوا اس واسطے کہ ہم اس سے برائی اور بے حیائی دور کر دیں۔ بے شک وه ہمارے چنے ہوئے بندوں میں سے تھا

Allah hath enjoined it on us. Say: Allah, verily, enjoineth not lewdness. Tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?
اللہ نے یہی حکم دیا ہے-آپ فرمادیجئے کہ خدا بری بات کا حکم دے ہی نہیں سکتا ہے کیا تم خدا کے خلاف وہ کہہ رہے ہو جو جانتے بھی نہیں ہو?

the pilgrimage therein(let him remember that) there is(to be) no lewdness nor abuse nor angry conversation on the pilgrimage.
نہ عورتوں کے سامنے صحبت کا تذکرہ ہو نہ کوئی گناہ، نہ کسی سے جھگڑا حج کے وقت تک

Those who avoid the cardinal sins and lewdness, except that they approached it and refrained;
وہ جو بڑے گناہوں اور بے حیائیوں سے بچتے ہیں
