He said,“O Nooh, he is not of your family; his deeds are most improper; therefore do not ask Me a thing of which you do not have knowledge; I advise you not to be unwise.”.
جواب میں ارشاد ہوا"اے نوحؑ، وہ تیرے گھر والوں میں سے نہیں ہے، وہ تو ایک بگڑا ہوا کام ہے، لہٰذا تو اُس بات کی مجھ سے درخواست نہ کر جس کی حقیقت تو نہیں جانتا، میں تجھے نصیحت کرتا ہوں کہ اپنے آپ کو جاہلوں کی طرح نہ بنا لے

And O my people! May not your opposition to me occasion the coming upon you of the thing similar to what befell the people of Nooh or the people of Hud
اور اے میری قوم تمہیں میری ضد یہ نہ کموادے کہ تم پر پڑے جو پڑا تھا نوح کی قوم یا ہود کی قوم

And the people of Nooh- when they denied the Noble Messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for mankind;
یہی حال قوم نوحؑ کا ہوا جب انہوں نے رسولوں کی تکذیب کی ہم نے اُن کو غرق کر دیا

And the people of Nooh- when they denied the Noble Messengers,
اور نوح کی قوم کو جب انہوں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا ہم نے ان کو ڈبو دیا

They said,"O Nooh, you have disputed with us and disputed in the extreme,
(وہ لوگ) کہنے لگے اے نوحؑ تم ہم سے یقیناً جھگڑے اور بہت جھگڑ چکے ہو۔ پھر

Before them, the people of Nooh and the groups after them had denied;
ان سے پہلے نوح کی قوم

And indeed We sent Nooh and Ibrahim, and placed Prophethood
اور بیشک ہم نے نوح اور ابراہیم کو بھیجا

He said,“O Nooh, he is not of your family; his deeds are most improper; therefore do not ask Me a thing of which you do not have knowledge; I advise you not to be unwise.”.
ارشاد ہوا۔ اے نوح وہ تیرے اہل میں سے نہیں ہے وہ تو مجسم عملِ بد ہے پس جس چیز کا تمہیں علم نہیں ہے اس کے بارے میں مجھ سے سوال نہ کر میں تمہیں نصیحت کرتا ہوں کہ جاہلوں میں سے نہ ہو جانا

And indeed We sent Nooh and Ibrahim, and placed Prophethood and the Book among their descendants, so some among them took to guidance; and many of them are sinners.
اور بیشک ہم نے نوح اور ابراہیم علیہما السلام کو بھیجا اور ہم نے دونوں کی اولاد میں رسالت اور کتاب مقرر فرما دی تو ان میں سے(بعض) ہدایت یافتہ ہیں، اور ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نافرمان ہیں

He said,“O Nooh, he is not of your family;
فرمایا اے نوح وہ تیرے گھر والو ں میں سے نہیں ہے

And the people of Nooh- when they denied the Noble Messengers,
اور نوح کی قوم کوبھی جب انہو ں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا

And the people of Nooh- when they denied the Noble Messengers,
اور نوح کی قوم نے بھی جب پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا

And Nooh builds the ship;
اور نوح کشتی بنارہے تھے

And the people of Nooh- when they denied the Noble Messengers,
اور قوم نوح کو بھی جب انہوں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے انہیں بھی غرق کردیا

blessings be upon him) when We took a covenant from the Prophets- and from you- and from Nooh, and Ibrahim, and Moosa, and Eisa the son of Maryam; and We took a firm covenant from them.
آپ سے اور نوح سے اور ابراہیم سے اور موسیٰ سے اور عیسٰی ابن مریم(علیھم السلام) سے اور ہم نے اُن سے نہایت پختہ عہد لیا

بیشک ہم نے نوح کو اس کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا

And indeed We sent Nooh towards his people- he therefore said,“O my people!
اور بیشک ہم نے نوح کو اس کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا

Indeed We sent Nooh to his people- he therefore said,“O my people!
ہم نے نوح کو ان کی قوم کی طرف(رسول بنا کر)

And indeed We sent Nooh to his people- he therefore stayed with them for a thousand years,
اور یقیناً ہم نے نوح کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا
