بہانے مت بناؤ تم ایمان لانے کے بعد کافر ہو چکے ہو۔ اگر ہم تم میں سے ایک جماعت کو معاف کردیں تو دوسری جماعت کو سزا بھی دیں گے کیونکہ وہ گناہ کرتے رہے ہیں

بے شک فرعون زمین پر سرکش ہو گیا تھا اور وہاں کے لوگوں کے کئی گروہ کر دیئے تھے ان میں سے ایک گروہ کو کمزور کر رکھا تھا ان کے لڑکوں کو قتل کرتا تھا اور ان کی لڑکیوں کو زندہ رکھتا تھا بے شک وہ مفسدوں میں سے تھا

اس نے اہلِ زمین کو مختلف حصوں میں تقسیم کردیا کہ ایک گروہ نے دوسرے کو بالکل کمزور بنادیا وہ لڑکوں کو ذبح کردیا کرتا تھا اور عورتوں کو زندہ رکھا کرتا تھا. وہ یقینا مفسدین میں سے تھا

وہاں کے باشندوں کو گروہ گروہ بنا رکھا تھا اُن میں سے ایک گروہ کو(یہاں تک) کمزور کر دیا تھا

تو اب معذرت نہ کرو-تم نے ایمان کے بعد کفر اختیار کیا ہے-ہم اگر تم میں کی ایک جماعت کو معاف بھی کردیں تو دوسری جماعت پر ضرور عذاب کریں گے کہ یہ لوگ مجرم ہیں

اس کے باشندوں کو گروہوں میں تقسیم کر دیا ان میں سے ایک گروہ کو وہ ذلیل کرتا تھا، اس کے لڑکوں کو قتل کرتا اور اس کی لڑکیوں کو جیتا رہنے دیتا تھا فی الواقع وہ مفسد لوگوں میں سے تھا

(اب) تم معذرت مت کرو، بیشک تم اپنے ایمان(کے اظہار) کے بعد کافر ہو گئے ہو، اگر ہم تم میں سے ایک گروہ کو معاف بھی کر دیں(تب بھی) دوسرے گروہ کو عذاب دیں گے اس وجہ سے کہ وہ مجرم تھے

Then, certainly, on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute with one another in the presence of your Lord.(One party will say to the other:‘You stopped us from understanding the station of the Prophet and the glory of the Messenger.' They will reply:‘No, you were yourselves ill-fated and misguided.').

پھر بلاشبہ تم لوگ قیامت کے دن اپنے رب کے حضور باہم جھگڑا کروگے(ایک گروہ دوسرے کو کہے گا کہ ہمیں مقامِ نبوّت اور شانِ رسالت کو سمجھنے سے تم نے روکا تھا، وہ کہیں گے: نہیں تم خود ہی بدبخت اور گمراہ تھے)o

تمہارے واسطے ان دونوں گروہوں کے حالات میں ایک نشانی موجود ہے جو میدان جنگ میں آمنے سامنے آئے کہ ایک گروہ راسِ خدا میں جہاد کررہا تھا

یقیناً تمہارے لئے عبرت کی نشانی تھی ان دو جماعتوں میں جو گتھ گئی تھیں، ایک جماعت تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی راه میں لڑ رہی تھی اور دوسرا گروه کافروں کا تھا وه انہیں اپنی آنکھوں سے اپنے سے دگنا دیکھتے تھے اور اللہ تعالیٰ جسے چاہے اپنی مدد سے قوی کرتا ہے۔ یقیناً اس میں آنکھوں والوں کے لئے بڑی عبرت ہے
