The parable of the two parties is that of one who is blind and deaf and one who sees and hears. Are they equal in comparison? Will you not then take admonition?
ان دونوں فرقوں کی مثال اندھے، بہرے اور دیکھنے، سننے والے جیسی ہے۔ کیا یہ The likeness of the two parties is as the man blind and deaf, and the man who sees
When two parties of you were about to lose heart, though God was their Protector-- and in God let the believers put all their trust--.
جب تمہاری دو جماعتیں پست ہمتی کا اراده کر چکی تھیں، اللہ تعالیٰ انکا ولی اور مددگار ہے۔ اور اسی کی پاک ذات پر مومنوں کو بھروسہ رکھنا چاہئےAfterwards. We raised them up again, that We might know which of the two parties would better calculate the while they had tarried.
پھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھایا۔ تاکہ ہم دیکھیں کہ ان دو گروہوں میں سے کون اپنے ٹھہرنے کی مدت کا زیادہ ٹھیک شمار کر سکتا ہےThe example of the two parties is like the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Then, will you not remember?
ان دونوں فرقوں کی مثال اندھے، بہرے اور دیکھنے، سننے والے جیسی ہے۔ کیا یہ So the example of the two parties is like the blind
The likeness of the two parties is as the man blind
دونوں فریق کا حال ایسا ہے جیسے ایک اندھاWhen two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Wali(Supporter and Protector). And in Allah should the believers put their trust.
جب تمہاری دو جماعتیں پست ہمتی کا اراده کر چکی تھیں، اللہ تعالیٰ انکا ولی اور مددگار ہے۔ اور اسی کی پاک ذات پر مومنوں کو بھروسہ رکھنا چاہئےThen We raised them up(from their sleep), that We might test which of the two parties was best at calculating the time period that they had tarried.
پھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھایا۔ تاکہ ہم دیکھیں کہ ان دو گروہوں میں سے کون اپنے ٹھہرنے کی مدت کا زیادہ ٹھیک شمار کر سکتا ہےThen We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!
پھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھا دیا کہ دیکھیں دونوں گروہوں میں سے کون اس(مدّت) کو صحیح شمار کرنے والا ہے جو وہ(غار میں) ٹھہرے رہے،!The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing.
دونوں فریق کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے ایک اندھا اوربہرا ہوAnd what befell you(adversity) on the day when the two parties met, was by Allah's Leave, in order that He might know(determine) the believers.
اور جو مصیبت تم پر دونوں جماعتوں کے مقابلے کے دن واقع ہوئی سو خدا کے حکم سے(واقع ہوئی) اور(اس سے) یہ مقصود تھا کہ خدا مومنوں کو اچھی طرح معلومWhen two parties from among you had determined that they should show cowardice, and Allah was the guardian of them both, and in Allah should the believers trust.
جب تمہاری دو جماعتیں پست ہمتی کا اراده کر چکی تھیں، اللہ تعالیٰ انکا ولی اور مددگار ہے۔ اور اسی کی پاک ذات پر مومنوں کو بھروسہ رکھنا چاہئےto see which of the two parties could count the duration of their stay therein.
دیکھیں اُن کے دو گروہوں میں سے کون اپنی مدت قیام کا ٹھیک شمار کرتا ہے(12The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and deaf,
دونوں فریق کا حال ایسا ہے جیسے ایک اندھاSo when the two parties saw each other,
پس جب دونوں گروہوں نے ایک دوسرے کو دیکھاLest you say that the Book was only revealed to two parties before us and We were truly unaware of what they read.
کبھی کہو کہ کتاب تو ہم سے پہلے دو گروہوں پر اُتری تھی اور ہمیں ان کے پڑھنے پڑھانے کی کچھ خبر نہ تھیThird parties have rarely posed much of a threat to the dominant two parties in America.
تیسری پارٹیوں کی شاذ و نادر ہی امریکہ میں غالب دونوں جماعتوں کے لئے ایک خطرے کی زیادہ سے زیادہ پیدا کر دیا ہےWhen two parties of you almost fell away, and Allah was their Protecting Friend. In Allah let believers put their trust.
