So We punished them and drowned them in the sea, for they had belied Our signs and gave no heed to them.
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் நம் அத்தாட்சிகளைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல்; அவற்றைப் பொய்ப்பித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்ததால், அவர்களைக் கடலில் மூழ்கடித்து அவர்களிடம் நாம் பழிவாங்கினோம்.

So We exacted retribution from them and drowned them in the sea, because they rejected Our signs and paid no heed to them;
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் நம் அத்தாட்சிகளைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல்; அவற்றைப் பொய்ப்பித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்ததால், அவர்களைக் கடலில் மூழ்கடித்து அவர்களிடம் நாம் பழிவாங்கினோம்.

therefore We drowned them in the sea: because they denied Our revelations and were heedless of them.

So We took vengeance on them, and drowned them in the sea- because they rejected Our signs, and paid no heed to them.

so We drowned them in the sea for they used to deny Our signs and were ignoring them.

So We took vengeance on them, and drowned them in the sea, for that they cried lies to Our signs and heeded them not.
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் நம் அத்தாட்சிகளைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல்; அவற்றைப் பொய்ப்பித்துக் கொண்டு இருந்ததால், அவர்களைக் கடலில் மூழ்கடித்து அவர்களிடம் நாம் பழிவாங்கினோம்.

Do you not see that God has subjected to you what is on earth and the ships which sail in the sea at His command?
( நபியே) நிச்சயமாக பூமியில் உள்ளவற்றையும், அவனது கட்டளைப்படியே கடலில் செல்லும் கப்பலையும் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித் தந்தான் என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

Did you not see that God commits to you what is in the land, and the ships which sail in the sea by His leave?
( நபியே) நிச்சயமாக பூமியில் உள்ளவற்றையும், அவனது கட்டளைப்படியே கடலில் செல்லும் கப்பலையும் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித் தந்தான் என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command?
( நபியே) நிச்சயமாக பூமியில் உள்ளவற்றையும், அவனது கட்டளைப்படியே கடலில் செல்லும் கப்பலையும் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித் தந்தான் என்பதை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

We also subjected to him some of the jinn who dived for him in the sea and performed other tasks;
இன்னும், ஷைத்தான்களிலிருந்தும் அவருக்காகக்( கடலில்) மூழ்கி வரக் கூடியவர்களை( நாம் வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தோம்;

As for the boat, it belonged to poor men working in the sea, so I intended to damage it,

Observest thou not that the ship saileth in the sea by the favour of Allah that he may shew you of His signs?
