In the early 18th century, a Quaker colony developed in what is now North Smithfield(then Smithfield), which extended into south Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
Specifically, by contextualizing Wikipedia practice relative to other communities(e.g., Quakers and Internet standards organizations) I show how consensus is understood and practiced despite difficulties arising from the relative lack of resources other consensus communities have from the start.
