Indeed We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance(justice) that mankind may keep up justice.
実にわれは明証を授けて使徒たちを遣わし，またかれらと一緒に，啓典と（正邪の）秤を下した。

And assuredly Our messengers came unto Ibrahim with the glad tidings. The said: peace! He said: peace! And he tarried not till he brougt a calf roasted.
わが使徒たちが，イブラーヒームの許に来て，吉報を（声？）した。かれらは，「平安あれ。」と言い，かれも，「平安あれ。」と答え，時を移さず，焼いた仔牛で持て成した。

Our messengers came to Abraham with good news. They said,“Peace.” He said,“Peace.” Soon after, he came with a roasted calf.
わが使徒たちが，イブラーヒームの許に来て，吉報を（声？）した。かれらは，「平安あれ。」と言い，かれも，「平安あれ。」と答え，時を移さず，焼いた仔牛で持て成した。

Our Messengers came to Abraham with glad tidings. They said:'Peace' He replied'Peace' and in a while brought them a roasted calf.
わが使徒たちが，イブラーヒームの許に来て，吉報を（声？）した。かれらは，「平安あれ。」と言い，かれも，「平安あれ。」と答え，時を移さず，焼いた仔牛で持て成した。

We send Our Messengers only to proclaim glad tidings and to give warning. But the unbelievers dispute with false arguments so that they may belie the truth. They have taken My verses and warnings in mockery.
われは只吉報を伝達し，また警告を与えるために，使徒たちを遣わす。だが不信心な者は，真理を退けるために嘘の論争をし，われの印や警告を嘲笑して受け取る。

And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than(Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped?
あなた以前にわれが遣わした，使徒たちに問いなさい。われは，慈悲深き御方以外に仕えるべき神々を置いたのか。

Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know.
これらは啓典を虚偽であるとし，またわれが遣わした使徒たちの（西？）す消息を，虚偽であるとする者。やがてかれらは思い知るであろう。

Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel?(Yes We do) and Our Messengers(appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record.
それともかれらは，われがかれらの秘めごとや謀議を，聞かないとでも思うのか。いや，わが使徒たち（天使）は，かれらの傍らで記録している。

When We let people taste[Our] mercy after a distress that has befallen them, behold, they scheme against Our signs! Say,‘Allah is more swift at devising.' Indeed Our messengers write down what you scheme.
われが人間に災厄を味わせた後，慈悲を与えると，見よ，かれらはわが印に対して策謀をする。言ってやるがいい。「アッラーは，策謀に対して迅速に処置される。」本当にわが使徒たち（天使）は，あなたがたの策謀することを凡て記録するのである。

When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said:"We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are wicked men." 31.
わが使徒（天使）たちが，吉報を持ってイブラーヒームの許に来た時，かれらは言った。「わたしたちは，この町の人びとを滅ぼそうとするところである。本当にここの住民は，悪を行う者たちばかりである。」31。

And when We cause mankind to taste of mercy after some adversity which had afflicted them, behold! they have some plot against Our revelations. Say: Allah is more swift in plotting. Lo! Our messengers write down that which ye plot.
われが人間に災厄を味わせた後，慈悲を与えると，見よ，かれらはわが印に対して策謀をする。言ってやるがいい。「アッラーは，策謀に対して迅速に処置される。」本当にわが使徒たち（天使）は，あなたがたの策謀することを凡て記録するのである。

When Our messengers brought Abraham the good news[of the birth of Isaac] they[also] said,"We are indeed going to destroy the people of this city, for the people of this city are truly wrongdoers.
わが使徒（天使）たちが，吉報を持ってイブラーヒームの許に来た時，かれらは言った。「わたしたちは，この町の人びとを滅ぼそうとするところである。本当にここの住民は，悪を行う者たちばかりである。」。

When We let people taste(Our) mercy after they had been afflicted by hardship, they devise against Our verses. Say:'Allah is more swift in devising' Indeed, Our Messengers(the angels) are writing down whatever you devise.
われが人間に災厄を味わせた後，慈悲を与えると，見よ，かれらはわが印に対して策謀をする。言ってやるがいい。「アッラーは，策謀に対して迅速に処置される。」本当にわが使徒たち（天使）は，あなたがたの策謀することを凡て記録するのである。

And when We give the people a taste of mercy after adversity has touched them, at once they conspire against Our verses. Say,"Allah is swifter in strategy." Indeed, Our messengers record that which you conspire.
われが人間に災厄を味わせた後，慈悲を与えると，見よ，かれらはわが印に対して策謀をする。言ってやるがいい。「アッラーは，策謀に対して迅速に処置される。」本当にわが使徒たち（天使）は，あなたがたの策謀することを凡て記録するのである。

When We make mankind taste of some mercy after adversity hath touched them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Signs! Say:"Swifter to plan is Allah!" Verily, Our messengers record all the plots that ye make!
