Then, We raised after him other apostles to their people, and they brought them evidences, but they were not such as to believe that which they had belied afore. Thus We seal the hearts of the transgressors.

After him We sent other messengers to their respective peoples, and they brought them clear proofs. But they would not believe in the truth, because they had rejected it before. Thus We seal up the hearts of the transgressors.

Then after him We sent(many) messengers to their peoples: they brought them Clear Signs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors.

Why should you not eat that over which Allah's Name has been mentioned, while He has already elaborated for you whatever He has forbidden you, excepting what you may be compelled to[eat in an emergency]? Indeed many mislead[others] by their fancies, without any knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best the transgressors.
あなたがたは，アッラーの御名が唱えられたものを，どうして食べないのか。かれは，あなたがたに禁じられるものを，明示されたではないか。だが，止むを得ない場合は別である。本当に多くの者は，知識もなく気まぐれから（人びとを）迷わす。あなたの主は，反逆者を最もよく知っておられる。

And why should you not eat of that over which the Name of God is pronounced, when He has detailed for you what is prohibited for you, unless you are compelled by necessity? Many lead astray with their opinions, through lack of knowledge. Your Lord knows best the transgressors.

When his Lord tested Abraham with certain commands and he fulfilled them, He said,"I will make you a leader of men." Abraham asked,"And what of my descendants?" He answered,"My covenant does not extend to the transgressors.

And why should you not eat of that over which the Name of Allah has been pronounced when He has already made plain to you what is forbidden, except when you are constrained? Many are those who mislead through ignorance on account of their fancies, but your Lord best knows the transgressors.

Why should you not eat what has been consecrated in God's name, when He has already explained to you what He has forbidden you, unless you are compelled by necessity? Surely, many mislead others by their desires through lack of knowledge. But your Lord best knows the transgressors.

Recall to mind that when his Lord put Abraham to test in certain things and he fulfilled all of them, He said,"I am going to make you the leader of mankind." Abraham humbly asked,"Does this promise apply to my descendants also?" He replied,"My promise does not apply to the transgressors.
