THE CODE PROVIDES in Arabic translation

The Code provides that investigation is conducted on the strength of an order of investigation and against a specific person where there is a well-founded suspicion that the person has committed a criminal offence.

وينص القانون على إجراء التحقيق استناداً إلى أمر بالتحقيق، وضد شخص معين يتوفر اشتباه له ما يبرره بأنه قد ارتكب جريمة جنائية

If the injured party does not receive such notification, the Code provides a time period of three months, starting from the date the complaint was dismissed or the charges withdrawn,
