ابراہیم نے اللہ کے سوا کوئی نہیں ڈر تھا، تو اس نے بادشاہ کو پیش کیا گیا ہے جب وہ، نے اسے چیلنج کیا"میرے رب کو جلا بخشتی ہے اور موت دیتا ہے وہ ہے.

اور شب و روز کے فرق و اختلاف میں، اور اُس رزق میں جسے اللہ آسمان سے نازل فرماتا ہے پھر اس کے ذریعہ سے مردہ زمین کو جِلا اٹھاتا ہے،

Say:'O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah to you all. His is the kingdom in the heavens and the earth. There is no god except He. He revives and causes to die. Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His Words. Follow him in order that you are guided.'.
تم فرماؤ اے لوگو! میں تم سب کی طرف اس اللہ کا رسول ہوں کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اسی کو ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جلائے اور مارے تو ایمان لاؤ اللہ اور اس کے رسول بے پڑھے غیب بتانے والے پر کہ اللہ اور اس کی باتوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور ان کی غلامی کرو کہ تم راہ پاؤ

knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return;
پھر دن میں تمہیں اُٹھادیتا ہے تاکہ مقررہ مدت حیات پوری کی جاسکے-اس کے بعد تم سب کی باز گشت اسی کی بارگاہ میں ہے

And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.
وہی ہے جو رات کو تمہاری روحیں قبض کرتا ہے اور دن کو جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اسے جانتا ہے، پھر دوسرے روز وہ تمہیں اِسی کاروبار کے عالم میں واپس بھیج دیتا ہے تاکہ زندگی کی مقرر مدت پوری ہو آخر کار اسی کی طرف تمہاری واپسی ہے، پھر و ہ تمہیں بتا دے گا کہ تم کیا کرتے رہے ہو

Have you not seen he who argued with Abraham about his Lord that Allah had given him the kingship! When Abraham said:'My Lord is He who revives, and causes to die' He said:'I revive, and cause to die' Abraham said:'Allah brings up the sun from the east; so you bring it from the west' Then he who disbelieved became pale. Allah does not guide the nation, the harmdoers.
کیا تم نے نہ دیکھا تھا اسے جو ابراہیم سے جھگڑا اس کے رب کے بارے میں اس پر کہ اللہ نے اسے بادشاہی دی جبکہ ابراہیم نے کہا کہ میرا رب وہ ہے جو جِلاتا اور مارتا ہے بولا میں جِلاتا اور مارتا ہوں ابراہیم نے فرمایا تو اللہ سورج کو لاتا ہے پورب(مشرق) سے تو اس کو پچھم(مغرب) سے لے آ تو ہوش اڑ گئے کافروں کے، اور اللہ راہ نہیں دکھاتا ظالموں کو

Believers, do not be as those who disbelieve and say of their brothers when they journey in the land or go of to battle:'Had they stayed with us, they would not have died, nor would they have been killed' In order that Allah will make that a regret in their hearts. Allah revives and causes to die. He has knowledge of what you do.
اے ایمان والو! تم ان لوگوں کی طرح نہ ہو جانا جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور اپنے بھائیوں کے حق میں جب کہ وه سفر میں ہوں یا جہاد میں ہوں، کہا کہ اگر یہ ہمارے پاس ہوتے تو نہ مرتے اور نہ مارے جاتے، اس کی وجہ یہ تھی کہ اس خیال کو اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی دلی حسرت کا سبب بنا دے، اللہ تعالیٰ جلاتا ہے اور مارتا ہے اور اللہ تمہارے عمل کو دیکھ رہا ہے

اے ایمان والو! ان کافروں کی طرح نہ ہونا جنہوں نے اپنے بھائیوں کی نسبت کہا کہ جب وہ سفر یا جہاد کو گئے کہ ہمارے پاس ہوتے تو نہ مرتے اور نہ مارے جاتے اس لئے اللہ ان کے دلوں میں اس کا افسوس رکھے، اور اللہ جِلاتا اور مارتا ہے اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے

Then We revived you after your extinction, that ye might give thanks.
پھر ہم نے تمہیں موت کے بعد زندہ کردیا کہ شاید اب شکر گزار بن جاؤ

But this shame you have revived me, I will kill you.
لیکن یہ شرم تم نے مجھے زندہ کر دی ہے، میں تمہیں مار کر مٹا دوں گا

تو اپنے احکام کے مطابق مجھے زندہ رکھ
