اب تم اپنے عصا کو زمین پر ڈال دو اس کے بعد موسیٰ نے جب دیکھا تو کیا دیکھا کہ وہ سانپ کی طرح لہرا رہا ہے موسیٰ الٹے پاؤں پلٹ پڑے اور مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھا آواز آئی کہ موسیٰ ڈرو نہیں میری بارگاہ میں مرسلین نہیں ڈرا کرتے ہیں

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman,
سانپ کُل دشتی جانوروں سے جِنکو خُداوند خُدا نے بنایا تھا چالاک تھا

Throw down your staff." And when he saw it move as though it were a serpent, he turned his back and fled, and did not look back."O Moses," said the voice,"come forward and have no fear; you are quite safe.
اور یہ کہ اپنی لاٹھی ڈالدو۔ جب دیکھا کہ وہ حرکت کر رہی ہے گویا سانپ ہے، تو پیٹھ پھیر کر چل دیئے اور پیچھے پھر کر بھی نہ دیکھا۔(ہم نے کہا کہ) موسٰی آگے آؤ اور ڈرومت تم امن پانے والوں میں ہو

at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it shall bite them.
وہ سمندر کی تہہ میں میری نظر سے غائب ہو جائیں تو میں وہاں سانپ کو حکم دوں گا اور وہ ان کو کاٹے گا

if they conceal themselves from my eyes in the depths of the sea, I will command the serpent there and he will bite them.
وہ سمندر کی تہہ میں میری نظر سے غائب ہو جائیں تو میں وہاں سانپ کو حکم دوں گا اور وہ ان کو کاٹے گا

تو جب اُس نے دیکھا کہ وہ(لاٹھی) حرکت کر رہی ہے جیسے کہ وہ ایک سانپ ہو، تو وہ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگا اور پیچھے مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھا»۔ پھر اللہ نے فرمایا کہ موسیٰ ڈرو نہیں، بلکہ آگے آؤ اور اس کو پکڑ لو۔ بہر حال یہاں پر وہ تفصیل بیان نہیں ہوئی

And it will be the lair of serpents and the pasture of ostriches.
اور یہ سانپوں کی کھوہ اور شتر مرغ کی چراگاہ ہو گی
