人びとよ，地上にあるものの中良い合法なものを食べて，悪魔の歩みに従ってはならない。本当にかれは，あなたがたにとって公然の敵である。
O men, eat of what is in the earth lawful and good; and follow not the steps of Satan; he is a manifest foe to you.

人びとよ、あなたがたの主から確かに勧告が下された、これは胸の中にある（病い）を癒し、また信者に対する導きであり慈悲である。
O mankind, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord, a cure for what is in the breasts, and a guidance and a mercy for the Believers.
