So We took him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers.
それでわれは，かれとかれの軍勢を捕え，海に投げ込んだ。見るがいい。悪を行う者の最後がどんなものであったかを。So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust.
それでわれは，かれとかれの軍勢を捕え，海に投げ込んだ。見るがいい。悪を行う者の最後がどんなものであったかを。Say,[O Muhammad],"Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators of others with Allah.
言ってやるがいい。「地上を旅して，（あなたがた）以前の者たちの最後が，どうであったかを観察しなさい。かれらの多くは多神教徒であった。」。Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters.
それからかれらの後に，われはムーサーを，わが印を携えて，フィルアウンとその長老たちに遣わした，だがかれらはそれを拒否した。それで不義を行う者の最後が，どんなものであるかを見なさい。No; but they have cried lies to that whereof they comprehended not the knowledge, and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Even so those that were before them cried lies; then behold how was the end of the evildoers!
いや，かれらはその知識で理解出来ないもの，またその解説がかれらに未だ下されないものを，偽りであるとする。このようにかれら以前の者も偽りであるとした。だが見よ，不義の徒の最後がどんなものであったかを。Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
いや，かれらはその知識で理解出来ないもの，またその解説がかれらに未だ下されないものを，偽りであるとする。このようにかれら以前の者も偽りであるとした。だが見よ，不義の徒の最後がどんなものであったかを。Then after them We sent Musa(Moses) with Our Signs to Fir'aun(Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them. So see how was the end of the Mufsidun mischief-makers, corrupts.
それからかれらの後に，われはムーサーを，わが印を携えて，フィルアウンとその長老たちに遣わした，だがかれらはそれを拒否した。それで不義を行う者の最後が，どんなものであるかを見なさい。Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector.
かれらは地上を旅して，かれら以前の者の最後がどうであったかを観察しないのか。かれらは，これら（マッカの多神教徒）よりも有力で，地上に残す遺跡においても優れていた。しかしアッラーは，かれらを罪のために捕えられた。その時アッラーから，かれらを守れる者は一人もなかった。Indeed, We sent forth among every nation a Messenger,; saying:'Serve you God, and eschew idols.' Then some. of them God guided, and some were justly disposed to error. So journey in the land, and behold how was the end of them that cried lies.
本当にわれは，各々の民に一人の使徒を遺わして「アッラーに仕え，邪神を避けなさい。」と（命じた）。それでかれらの中には，アッラーの導かれた者もあり，また，迷誤が避けられない者もあった。それで地上を旅して，（真理を）拒否した者の最後がどんなものであったかを見るがいい。And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger,[saying],"Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was[deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.
本当にわれは，各々の民に一人の使徒を遺わして「アッラーに仕え，邪神を避けなさい。」と（命じた）。それでかれらの中には，アッラーの導かれた者もあり，また，迷誤が避けられない者もあった。それで地上を旅して，（真理を）拒否した者の最後がどんなものであったかを見るがいい。How was the ending of 2202.

言ってやるがいい。「地上を旅して，これら罪深い者の最後がどうであったかを見届けよ。」。Have they travelled not in the earth and seen how was the end of those before them?

And behold, how was the end of their device! For We destroyed them and their people all together.
だから見るがいい。かれらの策謀の最後がどんなものであったかを。本当にわれは，かれらとその民を一斉に滅ぼしてしまった。
