The Czech Republic: Credentials signed on 9 December 1993 by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic stating that Mr. Karel Kovanda has been appointed representative of the Czech Republic on the Security Council, Mr. Alexandr Slabý and Mr. Alexandr Sporýš deputy representatives and Mr. Karel Žebrakovský, Mr. Ivo Šrámek, Mr. Štefan Füle and Mr. Jiří Vaňhara alternate representatives.
The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Karel de Gucht, visited Turkmenistan in March 2006. The Chairman-in-Office stressed the need to continue improving cooperation with OSCE institutions and units, and called upon the Government to devote increased attention to the" human dimension".
In accordance with the understanding reached in the Council ' s prior consultations, the President, with the consent of the Council, extended an invitation under rule 39 of the Council ' s provisional rules of procedure to Karel de Gucht, Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belgium.
The mandate of the mission was based on the terms of reference agreed with Armenia and Azerbaijan on 25 September 2006 and confirmed by an exchange of letters between Karel De Gucht, Chairman in Office of OSCE and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, and the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Karel Doorman is a multi-function support ship for amphibious operations of the Royal Netherlands Navy and German Navy.[1][2] The ship replaced both of the navy's replenishment oilers: HNLMS Zuiderkruis(scrapped in February 2014) and HNLMS Amsterdam(sold to Peru in December 2014).[3]

The Right Honourable Mr. David Miliband, M.P., Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; H.E. Ms. Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State of the United States of America; and H.E. Mr. Karel de Gucht, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, had an exchange of views on the prevalent political and social-economic situation in the country and its effects on the subregion.
