അങ്ങനെ അവര് ആ ഒട്ടകത്തെ അറുത്തു. തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ കല്പനയെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു:" സ്വാലിഹേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ആ ശിക്ഷയിങ്ങ് കൊണ്ടുവരിക. നീ ദൈവദൂതനെങ്കില്!”.They said:"We augur ill of you and those who are with you." Salih replied:"Your augury is with Allah.

സ്വാലിഹ് അവരെ വിട്ടുപോയി. അദ്ദേഹം ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു:" എന്റെ ജനമേ,Then they hamstrung the she camel and disdained the commandment of their Lord, and said: Salih! bring upon us that wherewith thou hast threatened us if thou art in sooth of the sent ones.
അങ്ങനെ അവര് ആ ഒട്ടകത്തെ അറുത്തു. തങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ കല്പനയെ ധിക്കരിച്ചു. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു:" സ്വാലിഹേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ആ ശിക്ഷയിങ്ങ് കൊണ്ടുവരിക. നീ ദൈവദൂതനെങ്കില്!”.believed among them,"Do you[actually] know that Salih is sent from his Lord?
