മര്യമിന്റെ മകന് ഈസാ പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചു:" ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥനായ അല്ലാഹുവേ, മാനത്തുനിന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു ഭക്ഷണത്തളിക ഇറക്കിത്തരേണമേ!And among His Signs(in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water(rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth(of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely,(He) is Able to give life to the dead(on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things.
നീ ഭൂമിയെ വരണ്ടുണങ്ങിയതായി കാണുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് അതില് നാം വെള്ളം വര്ഷിച്ചാല് അതിന് ചലനമുണ്ടാവുകയും അത് വളരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇതും അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില് പെട്ടതത്രെ. അതിന് ജീവന് നല്കിയവന് തീര്ച്ചയായും മരിച്ചവര്ക്കും ജീവന് നല്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ഏതുകാര്യത്തിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനാകുന്നു.When those who took heed for themselves would be asked:"What did your Lord send down?"
