کیا‘ پس وہ شخص جو اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے دلیل پر ہو اس شخص جیسا ہو سکتا ہے؟ جس کے لئے اس کا برا کام مزین کر دیا گیا ہو اور وہ اپنی نفسانی خواہشوں کا پیرو ہو?

Whoso brings a good deed shall have better than it; and whoso brings an evil deed those who have done evil deeds shall only be recompensed for that they were doing.
جو کوئی بھَلائی لے کر آئے گا اس کے لیے اس سے بہتر بھَلائی ہے، اور جو بُرائی لے کر آئے تو بُرائیاں کرنے والوں کو ویسا ہی بدلہ ملے گا جیسے عمل وہ کرتے تھے

Whosoever does an evil deed will be requited only with the like of it;
کوئی برائی کرتا ہے تو اسے بدلہ بھی اس کے برابر ملے گا اور جو کوئی نیک کام کرتا ہے

کیا پس وه شخص جو اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے دلیل پر ہو اس شخص جیسا ہو سکتا ہے؟ جس کے لئے اس کا برا کام مزین کر دیا گیا ہو اور وه اپنی نفسانی خواہشوں کا پیرو ہو؟?

And whoever comes with an evil deed- their faces will be overturned into the Fire,[and it will be said],"Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?".
اور جو بُرائی لیے ہوئے آئے گا، ایسے سب لوگ اوندھے منہ آگ میں پھینکے جائیں گے کیا تم لوگ اس کے سوا کوئی اور جزا پا سکتے ہو کہ جیسا کرو ویسا بھرو

Whosoever does an evil deed will be requited only with the like of it;
جس نے برائی کی تو اسے بدلہ نہیں دیا جائے گا مگر صرف اسی قدر، اور جس نے نیکی کی، خواہ مرد ہو یا عورت

The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil
اور بھلائی اور برائی برابر نہیں ہوسکتی۔ تو(سخت کلامی کا)

بدی برابر نہ ہوجائیں گی، اے سننے والے برائی کو بھلائی سے ٹال جبھی وہ

Your Lord has prescribed for Himself mercy, so that if any one of you does an evil deed out of ignorance and thereafter repents and mends his ways, then(you will see that) He is Most-Forgiving, Very- Merciful.
تمہارے پروردگار نے اپنے اوپر رحمت کا یہ معاملہ کرنا لازم کرلیا ہے کہ اگر تم میں سے کوئی نادانی سے کوئی برا کام کر بیٹھے، پھر اس کے بعد توبہ کرلے اور اپنی اصلاح کرلے تو بہت بخشنے والا، بڑا مہربان ہے۔[۵۴

(Allah's promise of salvation) does not accord with what you desire, nor with what the People of the Book aspire to. Whoever does an evil deed will be punished for it, and he will not find for himself any supporter or helper apart from Allah.
(اللہ کا وعدۂ مغفرت) نہ تمہاری خواہشات پر موقوف ہے اور نہ اہلِ کتاب کی خواہشات پر، جو کوئی برا عمل کرے گا اسے اس کی سزا دی جائے گی اور نہ وہ اللہ کے سوا اپنا کوئی حمایتی پائے گا اور نہ مددگار o

O listener! Repel the evil deed with a good one, thereupon the one between whom and you was enmity,
بدی یکساں نہیں ہیں تم بدی کو اُس نیکی سے دفع کرو جو بہترین ہو تم دیکھو گے
