And that they have done good shall go into life eternal, and they who indeed have done evil into eternal fire.
(35) تب جنہوں نے نیکی کی ہے وہ ابدی زندگی میں، اور جنہوں نے بدی کی ہے وہ ابدی آگ میں داخل ہوں گے

But the parties among them fell into variance; so woe unto those who did evil, because of the chastisement of a painful day.
پھر لوگ ایک دوسرے سے مختلف ہو گئے پس جنہوں نے ظلم کیا ان کے لیے دردناک دن کے عذاب سے تباہی ہے

Not so; whoso earns evil, and is encompassed by his transgression-- those are the inhabitants of the Fire; there they shall dwell forever.
ہاں کیوں نہیں جو گناہ کمائے اور اس کی خطا اسے گھیر لے وہ دوزخ والوں میں ہے انہیں ہمیشہ اس میں رہنا

Those are their houses, all fallen down because of the evil they committed; surely in that is a sign for a people who have knowledge.
تو یہ ہیں ان کے گھر ڈھے پڑے بدلہ ان کے ظلم کا، بیشک اس میں نشانی ہے جاننے والوں کے لیے

But who does greater evil than he who lies against God
تو اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے

Those are their houses, all fallen down because of the evil they committed; surely in that is a sign for a people who have knowledge.
سو یہ ان کے گھر ہیں جو ان کے ظلم کی وجہ سے ویران پڑے ہیں۔ بےشک اس(واقعہ) میں ایک بڑی نشانی ہے ان لوگوں کیلئے جو علم رکھتے ہیں

Nay, but whosoever hath done evil and his sin surroundeth him; such are rightful owners of the Fire; they will abide therein.
ہاں جس نے کوئی گناہ کیا اور اسے اس کے گناہ نے گھیر لیا سو وہی دوزخی ہیں وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے

So Allah saved them from the evil of that day, and gave them freshness and joy.
تو خدا نے انہیں اس دن کی سختی سے بچالیا اور تازگی اور سرور عطا کردیا

And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to His signs? They shall not prosper, the evildoers.
اور اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہوسکتا ہے جس نے اﷲ پر جھوٹا بہتان باندھا یا اس نے اس کی آیتوں کو جھٹلایا؟ بیشک ظالم لوگ فلاح نہیں پائیں گے

سو یہ ان کے گھر ویران پڑے ہیں اس لئے کہ انہوں نے ظلم کیا تھا۔ بیشک اس میں اس قوم کے لئے(عبرت کی) نشانی ہے جو علم رکھتے ہیں

But if one earns some evil(and does not repent), this earning of his will bring due punishment on him,
اور جو گناہ کمائے تو ا س کی کمائی اسی کی جان پر پڑے

But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and(blissful) Joy.
تو خدا نے انہیں اس دن کی سختی سے بچالیا اور تازگی اور سرور عطا کردیا

And the parable of an evil word is as an evil tree pulled up from the earth's surface; it has no stability”.
اور ناپاک بات کی مثال اس ناپاک درخت کی سی ہے جسے زمین کے اوپر ہی سے اکھاڑ لیا جائے، اسے ذرا بھی قرار(و بقا) نہ ہو

Say:“In both there is great evil, as also some advantage for mankind!
کہہ دے کہ ان دونوں میں گناہ بڑا ہے اور لوگوں کے لئے کچھ فائدے بھی ہیں!
