THEY PRAYED in Urdu translation

And they prayed and said,"You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men,

اور دعا, وہ کہنے لگے:"تم کر سکتے ہو, اے رب, جو ہر کسی

And they prayed, saying,"You, Lord, the Knower of the hearts of all,

اور دعا, وہ کہنے لگے:"تم کر سکتے ہو, اے رب,

And they prayed and said, Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of everyone,

اور دعا, وہ کہنے لگے:"تم کر سکتے ہو,

And they prayed, and said,"Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men,

اور دعا, وہ کہنے لگے:"تم کر سکتے ہو, اے رب, جو ہر کسی

They talked about their faith, they prayed, and they worshiped, but it was insincere.

اپنا دین بنایا ہے، انھوں نے نماز کے ساتھ سنگین مذاق کیا ہے، یہ جرم ہے، بلکہ

They prayed continuously day and night for God to forgive her and grant her peace.

انشاء اللہ اس نماز اور شب قدر کی برکت سے اللہ تعالٰی اس کی بخشش فرمائے گا

Once they arrive,“they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit”.

وہاں پہنچ کر اُنہوں نے اُن کے لئے دعا کی کہ اُنہیں روح القدس مل جائے

They were told that if they prayed they would be cast into a fiery furnace.

توان کاکہناتھا کہ اگرنیتاجی انہیں بلاتے ہیں تو وہ ضرور اجلاس میں شرکت کریں گے۔ اکھلیش سنگھ یادو

While Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundation of the house, they prayed,"Lord, accept our labor. You are All-hearing and All-knowing.

اور جب ابراہیم اور اسمٰعیل بیت الله کی بنیادیں اونچی کر رہے تھے(تو دعا کئے جاتے تھے کہ) اے پروردگار، ہم سے یہ خدمت قبول فرما۔ بےشک تو سننے والا(اور) جاننے والا ہے

When the youth sought refuge in the cave they prayed"Lord, grant us mercy

جبکہ کچھ جوانوں نے غار میں پناہ لی اور یہ دعا کی کہ پروردگار ہم کو اپنی رحمت عطا فرما

And when Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundations of the house,[they prayed]:‘Our Lord!

اور جب ابراہیم اور اسماعیل اس گھر کی بنیادیں بلند کررہے تھے(یہ دعا کرتے ہوئے) اے ہمارے رب!

And when Ibrahim was raising the foundations of the House, and Ismail,[they prayed]: Our Lord!

اور جب ابراہیم اُس خاص گھر کی بنیادوں کو اُستوار کررہاتھا اور اسماعیل بھی(یہ دعا کرتے ہوئے)کہ اے ہمارے ربّ!

They kept their eyes on Jesus, were patient, and they prayed.

اس شرط کی وجہ سے عیسیٰ علیہ السلام خوان کو اترتے ہوئے دیکھ کر رونے لگے اور دعا کرنے لگے

Act 6:6- These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands on them.

یہ وہ رسولوں کی نظر سے پہلے سیٹ, اور دعا کرتے ہوئے, وہ ان پر ہاتھ عائد

While Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundation of the house, they prayed,"Lord, accept our labor!

اور جب ابراہيم اور اسماعيل اس گھر کي بنياد بناٹھا رہے تھے(دعا کر رہے تھے کہ) اے ہمارے رب!

And they prayed and said,"You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all,

اور دعا, وہ کہنے لگے:"تم کر سکتے ہو,

When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed:"Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm:

جب ان کا جالوت اور اس کے لشکر سے مقابلہ ہوا تو انہوں نے دعا مانگی کہ اے پروردگار ہمیں صبر دے، ﺛابت قدمی دے

When they marched forward to fight with Goliath and his hosts, they prayed,"Our Lord, bless us with fortitude, make firm our foothold

جب ان کا جالوت اور اس کے لشکر سے مقابلہ ہوا تو انہوں نے دعا مانگی کہ اے پروردگار ہمیں صبر دے، ﺛابت قدمی دے

When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed:"Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm:

اور جب وہ لوگ جالوت اور اس کے لشکر کے مقابل آئے تو(خدا سے) دعا کی کہ اے پروردگار ہم پر صبر کے دہانے کھول دے

When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed:"Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith.".

اور جب وہ جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کے مقابلہ پر نکلے، تو انہوں نے دعا کی:"اے ہمارے رب ہم پر صبر کا فیضان کر، ہمارے قدم جما دے اور اس کافر گروہ پر ہمیں فتح نصیب کر
