The CGE considered the draft report on the workshop on the exchange of views on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, and provided recommendations on the matter for consideration by the SBI at its thirty-fourth session.
Recommendations on elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC" Guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention", taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications.
This report on the proceedings of the CGE workshop includes a summary of the exchange of views and ideas from Parties on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications by non-Annex I Parties.
(a) Plenary sessions to present experiences and to share best practices and lessons learned in using the current UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, presentation of background materials aimed at facilitating the discussions, and exchange of views on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the guidelines;
It invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 15 February 2009, information on their experience, further considerations related to the future revision of the UNFCCC reporting guidelines for Annex I Parties and the considerations related to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for compilation into a miscellaneous document.
(b) To provide to the SBI recommendations, as appropriate, on elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications;
Decides[to review the modalities, rules and guidelines governing the operation of[the emissions trading system][emissions trading under Article 17],][that possible future revision of these modalities, rules and guidelines may be considered, taking into account the relevant experience of Parties,]
The SBI welcomed the report of the CGE on the workshop referred to in paragraph 29 above, as well as the recommendations made by the CGE on elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties contained in its progress report.
The fourth meeting of the reconstituted CGE was held back-to-back with the workshop referred to in paragraph 3 above in order to exchange views on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications.
The output of this workshop is expected to form part of the recommendations to be provided by the CGE to the SBI on possible elements to be considered in the future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the process of and preparation of their most recent national communications.
(e) The CGE reiterated the recommendations contained in its progress report presented to the SBI at its thirty-fourth session, as appropriate, on the elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties, taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications.
(b) Provide recommendations on elements to be considered in a future revision of the" Guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention"(hereinafter referred to as the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties), taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications;
He proposed that, during its next meeting, the CGE focus its discussions on the preparation of this training workshop, including its design and approach, as well as on the preparation of the workshop to exchange views on possible elements to be considered in the future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties planned for March 2011.
Workshop to exchange views on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the" Guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention" taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications, held in Saint Mary ' s, Antigua and Barbuda, 21- 23 March 2011.
Ms. Ruleta Camacho, on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, expressed interest in hosting the fourth meeting of the CGE and the workshop to exchange views on possible elements to be considered in the future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties scheduled for March 2011.
At its next meeting, the CGE is also planning to review the materials, including a provisional agenda and a preliminary list of invitees, for the workshop on the exchanging of views on possible elements to be considered in the future revision of the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties scheduled for March 2011.
to request at any time one ' s own discharge as part of a future revision of the Social Welfare Act and that the courts interpret the provisions of article 13, paragraph 2, of the Social Welfare Act as empowering such persons to request their own discharge(arts. 2 and 16).
The SBI may further wish to reiterate its encouragement to Parties to take into account the recommendations made by the CGE on elements to be considered in a future revision of the" Guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention"(hereinafter referred to as the UNFCCC guidelines for the preparation of national communications from non-Annex I Parties) contained in its progress report submitted to the SBI at its thirty-fourth session.

It also noted the planned workshop of the CGE to be held in Antigua and Barbuda in March 2011, subject to the availability of resources, to exchange views on possible elements to be considered in a future revision of the UNFCCC" Guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention", taking into account the difficulties encountered by non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their most recent national communications.
