With regard to sub-item(a) of item 24 of the draft agenda(Eradication of poverty and other development issues: Implementation of the Second United Nations Decade for the Eradication of Poverty(2008-2017)), the Secretary-General wishes to recall paragraph 13 of resolution 63/229, by which the General Assembly decided to devote one plenary meeting at its sixty-fifth session to the consideration of the outcome of and follow-up to the International Year of Microcredit.
