Pursuant to the decision taken by the General Assembly at its 52nd plenary meeting, on 5 November 1996, the Secretary-General has the honour to submit to the Assembly the following consolidated list of candidates nominated by the Governments of States Members of the United Nations for election to the International Law Commission.
