സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് കുറെ സൈന്യങ്ങള് വരികയും, അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു കാറ്റും, നിങ്ങള് കാണാത്ത സൈന്യങ്ങളേയും അയക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭത്തില് അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചെയ്തു തന്ന അനുഗ്രഹം നിങ്ങള് ഓര്മിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.Nay it is that which ye sought to be hastened: a wind wherein is a torment afflictive.

ഇതാ നമുക്ക് മഴ നല്കുന്ന O you who believe, remember the favours of God to you when an army came against you and We sent a wind against them and forces that you did not see. But God sees all that you do.
സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് കുറെ സൈന്യങ്ങള് വരികയും, അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു കാറ്റും, നിങ്ങള് കാണാത്ത സൈന്യങ്ങളേയും അയക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭത്തില് അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചെയ്തു തന്ന അനുഗ്രഹം നിങ്ങള് ഓര്മിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.Believers, call to mind Allah's favour to you when enemy hosts invaded you. Then We sent against them a wind and hosts that you did not see although Allah was observing all that you were then doing.
സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് കുറെ സൈന്യങ്ങള് വരികയും, അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു കാറ്റും, നിങ്ങള് കാണാത്ത സൈന്യങ്ങളേയും അയക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭത്തില് അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ചെയ്തു തന്ന അനുഗ്രഹം നിങ്ങള് ഓര്മിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.Then We loosed against them a wind clamorous in days of ill fortune, that We might let them taste the chastisement of degradation in the present life; and the chastisement of the world to come is even more degrading, and they shall not be helped.
അവസാനം നാം ദുരിതം നിറഞ്ഞ നാളുകളില് അവരുടെ നേരെ അത്യുഗ്രമായ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റയച്ചു. ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില് തന്നെ അവരെ അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കാനായിരുന്നു അത്. പരലോകശിക്ഷ ഇതിനെക്കാള് എത്രയോ കൂടുതല് അപമാനകരമാണ്. അവര്ക്കെങ്ങുനിന്നും ഒരു സഹായവും കിട്ടുകയില്ല.Then, when they saw a cloud approaching their valley, they said,“This is a cloud that will bring us rain.”“In fact, it is what you were impatient for: a wind in which is grievous suffering.”!
അങ്ങനെ ആ ശിക്ഷ ഒരിരുണ്ട മേഘമായി തങ്ങളുടെ താഴ്വരയുടെ നേരെ വരുന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു:" നമുക്കു മഴ തരാന് വരുന്ന മേഘം!" എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ധൃതി കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കാര്യമാണിത്. നോവേറിയ ശിക്ഷയുടെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ്!And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
