അപ്പോള് പരീശന്മാര് അടുക്കെ വന്നുഭാര്യയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു പുരുഷന്നു വിഹിതമോBut their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
പരീശന്മാരും അവരുടെ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുനിങ്ങള് ചുങ്കക്കാരോടും പാപികളോടും കൂടെ തിന്നുകുടിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു പിറുപിറുത്തു?Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
പരീശന്മാരായ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പള്ളിയില് മുഖ്യാസനവും അങ്ങാടിയില് വന്ദനവും പ്രിയമാകുന്നു.The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.
