آدم نوح ادریس ابراہیم لوط الیسع الیاس اسحاق یعقوب یوسف موسی ہارون داوود سلیمان ہیں

اور اسمٰعیل اور الیسع اور یونس

And Ishmael, and Elijah, and Jonah,
اور اسماعیل علیھ السّلام, الیسع علیھ السّلام,

Praise be to God, Who has given me, in my old age, Ishmael and Isaac. My Lord is the Hearer of Prayers.”.
شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے مجھے اِس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ جیسے بیٹے دیے، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میرا رب ضرور دعا سنتا ہے

اس کتاب میں اسمٰعیل کا واقعہ بھی بیان کر، وہ بڑا ہی وعدہ کا سچا تھا اور تھا بھی رسول اور نبی

All praise be to Allah Who, despite my old age, has given me Ishmael and Isaac. Surely my Lord hears all prayers.
شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے مجھے اِس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ جیسے بیٹے دیے، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میرا رب ضرور دعا سنتا ہے

And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen.
اسماعیل، یسع اور ذوالکفل(علیہم السلام) کا بھی ذکر کر دیجئے۔ یہ سب بہترین لوگ تھے

And Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah
اور اسماعیل علیھ السّلام, الیسع علیھ السّلام,

And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah
اور اسمٰعیل اور الیسع اور یونس

Praise be to Allah Who hath given me, in my old age, Ishmael and Isaac! Lo! my Lord is
شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے مجھے اِس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ جیسے بیٹے دیے، حقیقت یہ ہے

(16) These were the sons of Ishmael, and these were their names,
یہ اسمعیل کے بیٹے ہیں اور ان ہی کے

And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House,(Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us(this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou,
اور جب اٹھاتا تھا ابراہیم ؑ اس گھر کی نیویں اور اسمٰعیل ؑ یہ کہتے ہوئے اے رب ہمارے ہم سے قبول فرما بیشک

All praise belongs to Allah, who gave me Ishmael and Isaac despite[my] old age. Indeed
شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے مجھے اِس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ جیسے بیٹے دیے، حقیقت یہ ہے

And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah
اور اسماعيل اور يسع اور يونس

Ishmael was loved by the Jurhumites and when he decided
اسمعیل Jurhumites بہت پیار کرتا تھا

Once Ka'ba had been rebuilt, Abraham and Ishmael supplicated,"O our Lord, accept this from us.
اور جب اٹھانے لگا ابراہیم بنیادیں اس گھر کی اور اسمٰعیل۔(تو دعا کرتے جاتے تھے) اے رب قبول کر ہم سے

Praise be to God who has bestowed upon me, despite my old age, Ishmael and Isaac. Surely my Lord is the hearer of prayer.
شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے مجھے اِس بڑھاپے میں اسماعیلؑ اور اسحاقؑ جیسے بیٹے دیے، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ میرا رب ضرور دعا سنتا ہے

And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House,(Abraham prayed): Our Lord!
اور جب ابراہيم اور اسماعيل اس گھر کي بنياد بناٹھا رہے تھے(دعا کر رہے تھے کہ) اے ہمارے رب!

Concerning Ishmael, the first son born to Abraham, Allah says,"And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son"(37:101).
اسمعیل، ابراہیم سے پیدا ہونے والے پہلے بیٹے، اللہ کا کہنا ہے کے بارہ میں"اور ہم نے انہیں ایک بہت نرم بیٹے کی خوشخبری دی."(37: 101
