Examples of using Slain in English and their translations into Urdu

And think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead,
جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں قتل ہوئے انہیں مردہ خیال نہ کرو

And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: dead. Nay, they are living,
اور جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں مارے جائیں، انہیں مُردہ نہ کہو، ایسے لوگ تو حقیقت میں زندہ ہیں،

For she hath cast down many wounded, and the strongest have been slain by her.
کیونکہ اُس نے بہتوں کو زخمی کرکے گرا دیا ہے۔بلکہ اسکے مقتول بے شمار ہیں

Her daughters also that are in the field, shall be slain by the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
میدان میں اس کی بیٹیاں تلوار سے ماری جائیں گی۔ تب وہ جانیں گے کہ میں خداوند ہوں۔

He said: My Lord! verily I have slain a man among them and I fear they shall slay me.
موسٰی نے کہا اے پروردگار اُن میں کا ایک شخص میرے ہاتھ سے قتل ہوچکا ہے سو مجھے خوف ہے کہ وہ(کہیں) مجھ کو مار نہ ڈالیں

And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: dead. Nay, they are living, but ye perceive not.
اور جو لوگ اﷲ کی راہ میں مارے جائیں انہیں مت کہا کرو کہ یہ مُردہ ہیں،(وہ مُردہ نہیں) بلکہ زندہ ہیں لیکن تمہیں(ان کی زندگی کا) شعور نہیں

one another with swords, both the slayer and the slain will be in Hell".
رسول اللہﷺنے فرمایا: جب دو مسلمان اپنی تلواروں سے مقابلہ کرتے ہیں تو قاتل اور مقتول دونوں جہنمی ہیں

Also her daughter villages which are in the fields shall be slain by the sword. eThen they shall know that I am the Lord.'.
میدان میں اس کی بیٹیاں تلوار سے ماری جائیں گی۔ تب وہ جانیں گے کہ میں خداوند ہوں۔

(57) And those who leave their homes for the cause of ALLAH, and are then slain or die, ALLAH will, surely, provide for them a goodly provision.
اور جو لوگ گھر چھوڑ آئے اﷲ کی راہ میں، پھر مارے گئے یا مر گئے پھر البتہ اُن کو دے گا اﷲ روزی خاصی

Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of Allah to be dead;
جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں قتل ہوئے ہیں ان کو مردہ خیال نہ کرو

And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head of the people of a fathers' house in Midian.
اور ماری گئی مدیانی عورت کا نام کزبی تھا۔ وہ صور کی بیٹی تھی وہ اپنے خاندان کا صدر تھا۔ وہ مدیان میں ایک خاندانی گروہ کا قائد تھا

Those who leave their homes in the cause of God, and are then slain or die, on them will God bestow verily a goodly provision.
اور جو لوگ گھر چھوڑ آئے اﷲ کی راہ میں، پھر مارے گئے یا مر گئے پھر البتہ اُن کو دے گا اﷲ روزی خاصی

اور خبردار راسِ خدا میں قتل ہونے والوں کو مردہ خیال نہ کرنا وہ زندہ ہیں

Also her daughters who are on the mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am the Lord.'”.
میدان میں اس کی بیٹیاں تلوار سے ماری جائیں گی۔ تب وہ جانیں گے کہ میں خداوند ہوں۔

Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah and are then slain or die, on them Allah will bestow good provision.
اور جو لوگ گھر چھوڑ آئے اﷲ کی راہ میں، پھر مارے گئے یا مر گئے پھر البتہ اُن کو دے گا اﷲ روزی خاصی

Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of Allah to be dead; no, they are living and provided for near their Lord.
جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں قتل ہوئے ہیں انہیں مردہ نہ سمجھو، وہ تو حقیقت میں زندہ ہیں، اپنے رب کے پاس رزق پا رہے ہیں

And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay,(they are) alive,
اور جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں مارے جائیں، انہیں مُردہ نہ کہو، ایسے لوگ تو حقیقت میں زندہ ہیں،

thou shalt die the deaths of[them that are] slain in the midst of the seas.
تو ان کی موت مرے گا جو سمندر کے وسط میں قتل ہوتے ہیں

Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of Allah to be dead; no, they are living
اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں مارے گئے ہر گز انہیں مردہ نہ خیال کرنا،

Do not call those who were slain in Allah's way‘dead.' No, they are living, but you are not aware.
اور جو لوگ اللہ کی راہ میں مارے جائیں، انہیں مُردہ نہ کہو، ایسے لوگ تو حقیقت میں زندہ ہیں، مگر تمہیں ان کی زندگی کا شعور نہیں ہوتا
