اے ایمان والو! اگر تم کافروں کے کہے پر چلے تو وہ تمہیں الٹے پاؤں لوٹادیں گے پھر ٹوٹا کھا کے پلٹ جاؤ گے

they would not be able to move forward or turn back.
کے رکھ دیں کہ یہ نہ آگے چل سکیں نہ پیچھے پلٹ سکیں

But if ye turn back, the duty of Our Messenger is but to proclaim(the Message) clearly and openly.
پھر اگر تم منہ موڑو تو ہمارے رسول کا کام یہی ہے پہنچا دینا کھول کر

اور(دشمن کے مقابلے میں)پیٹھ نہ پھیرنا(اگر ایسا کرو گے) تو تم الٹے گھاٹے میں رہو گے، وہ بولے کہ اے موسیٰ!

And obey Allah and obey the Apostle, but if you turn back, then upon Our Apostle devolves only the clear delivery(of the message).
اور خدا کی اطاعت کرو اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کرو۔ اگر تم منہ پھیر لو گے تو ہمارے پیغمبر کے ذمے تو صرف پیغام کا کھول کھول کر پہنچا دینا ہے
