It is He who has made for you the earth as a bed[spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the heaven, rain, and produced thereby pairs of various plants.
かれは，大地をあなたがたの臥床とされ，あなたがたのため，そこに道を縦横につけ，また天から雨を降らせられる。Say,‘Had there been angels in the earth, walking around and residing[in it like humans do], We would have sent down to them an angel from the heaven as apostle.
言ってやるがいい。「もし地上を悠々と往き来しているのが天使なら，われはきっと一天使を使徒として，天からかれらに遺わしたことであろう。」。Say,‘Were there to be in the earth angels, going about in peace, surely, We would have then sent unto them an angel from the heaven as a Messenger'"(Ibn Kathir).

あなたがたは見ないのか。アッラーは天から雨を降らせられる。それでわれは，色とりどりの果物を実らせる。また山々には，白や赤の縞があり，その外多くの色合いをもち，真黒いところもある。And(in) the variation of the night and the day and(in) the sustenance which Allah sends down from the heaven, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and(in) the changing of the winds, are signs for a people who understand.".
昼と夜との交替，またアッラーが天から下された糧，それによって死んでいる大地が甦ること，また風向きの変化にも，知性ある者への種々の印がある。Simplified〉 But immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

わたしの人びとよ，あなたがたの主の御赦しを請い求め，悔悟してかれに返れ。かれはあなたがたの上に天（から雲）を送り，豊かに雨を降らせ，あなたがたの力に更に力を添えられる。だからあなたがたは背き去って，罪を犯してはならない。」。And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied[the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.

It is as water which We send down from the heaven, then there mingleth therewith the vegetation of the earth, and lo! it becometh dry stubble which the winds scatter and Allah is over everything potent.
この世の生活を，譬話でかれらに説きなさい。それはわれが天から降らす雨のようなもので，大地の草木はそれを受けて茂るが，（そのうち）風に吹き散らされて乾いた株の根となる。アッラーは凡ての事に力を持っておられる。It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
かれこそは天地を6日の間に創造なされ，それから玉座に鎮座なされる方である。かれは地に入るもの，そこから出るもの，また天から下るもの，そこに上るものを知り尽される。あなたがたが何処にいようとも，かれはあなたがたと共にあられる。アッラーはあなたがたの行う凡てのことを御存知であられる。And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa(piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied(the Messengers). So We took them(with punishment) for what they used to earn polytheism and crimes.
これらの町や村の人びとが信仰して主を畏れたならば，われは天と地の祝福の扉を，かれらのためにきっと開いたであろう。だがかれらは（真理を）偽りであるとしたので，われはかれらの行ったことに対して懲罰を加えた。Do they not then consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We please We will make them disappear in the land or bring down upon them a portion from the heaven; most surely there is a sign in this for every servant turning to Allah.
かれらはかれらの前後にある天と地を見ないのか。もし欲するならば，われがかれらを大地に呑ませ，または天の一角をかれらの上に落とすであろう。本当にその中には悔悟して主に返ろしもベにとっての印がある。Is not he best Who hath created the heavens and the earth, and Who sendeth down water for you from the heaven wherewith We cause beauteous orchards to grow up, whereof it was not possible for you to cause the trees to grow up! Is there any god along with Allah! Nay! but they are a people who equalise.
誰が，天と地を創造したのか。また誰があなたがたのために，天から雨を降らせるのか。それでわれは，美しい果樹園をおい茂らせる。そこの樹木を成長させることは，あなたがたには出来ない。アッラーと共に（それが出来る外の）神があろうか。いや，かれらは（正しい道から）外れた民である。
